PiercingMetal Thoughts: As I noted earlier today, I’ve only actually read a couple of the compendium editions myself as I was too late to catch up on the individual issues for an affordable price when it came to the earliest ones. I learned this was ending via the grapevine and made sure to purchase a copy at my local shop when I learned that some where still available once I finished seeing “Spider-Man: Far From Home”. This truly came out of nowhere and will cause the fanatics some heartache as they seek a first printing of the mega-popular series. Did you readers snag one or are you stuck waiting on the second printing that will be available on Monday. Chime in down below.

“I’ll say it again, I love (loved… oh, god, I’m not ready for past tense) writing this series. I really don’t want it to end. In fact, I’ve been… kind of unsettled since I wrote the script for this issue. The whole thing just feels… weird,” Kirkman wrote in the letter. “In a way, killing this series has been a lot like killing a major character. Much, much harder… but the same feeling. I don’t WANT to do it. I’d rather keep going… but the story is telling me what it wants and what it needs. This needs to happen. Whether I want it or not.”
