My city was abuzz with all the Primary Elections hoopla and as I compose my narrative about this exciting tour it seems as though both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton had won their respective parties in my state. While I never get political here on the site, I can say that the next few months are going to be quite interesting. Now onto the awesome task at hand which is the announcement that both Carcass and Crowbar will be touring together and bringing along Ghoul and Night Demon. Check out the poster, the full press copy and dates and count the moments until I opine on this for you a little deeper. Here we go.
The Press Release:

You’ll have to pardon my just getting to this announcement but I’ve been out all day exploring my great Metropolis and one truly cannot properly post while on the move. That said here we go with the early afternoon disclosure by the mighty Slayer who are returning to venues in North America in early 2016 with Testament and Carcass in tow. I’ve copied the main information from the press release and the poster and then will return to discuss my views on the whole thing.

Hey Metalheads, I’m not going to say too much about this one since I think that it speaks for itself. The mighty Carcass is bringing their “Inked In Steel” tour to parts of the states but not NYC (screams in anguish) and shall be doing so with Obituary, Macabre, Exhumed and Noisem. Check out the poster, press release and dates for you lucky ducks in those regions and then I will return with some closing thoughts.
The Press Release:
Disinterred British extreme metal icons CARCASS, will return to the United States once again this October/November! At this point in time do I really need to say that I see a lot of concerts during the course of the year? I hope not because this one of the key factors that makes up my daily life as founder of the PiercingMetal brand. That said ?I wanted to once again use the Official Blog for the site to highlight a number of the shows that I attended during 2013 that I felt were the absolute best experiences. They’re not really in order of impact or importance but there are a few at the top that did hit me the hardest. Here we go.
1. Metallica @ The Apollo Theater: Thrashing like a maniac in Harlem? Yeah that happened. Classic set and free beer for the whole show. No complaints here.
2. Kamelot @ Stage 48: Returning to the headlining stage with Delain as support and Eklipse. This was a righteous show for sure. My belief in this band was reinforced yet again. I was not surprised in this.
3. Eddie Trunk 30th Anniversary Bash: Another one that I was super fortunate to participate in because an all-star jam with members of KISS, Overkill, Twisted Sister, Accept, Anthrax, Stryper, Guns n Roses and so many more is just impossible to qualify as being “an okay time”. This was insanity.
4. Trans-Siberian Orchestra @ Prudential Center: The final go round for the “Lost Christmas Eve” tour premise. Always a bombastic spectacle that needs seeing for believing.
You begged and now you shall indeed receive for Carcass will return for a full scale tour of the States as headliners on the Decibel Magazine Tour for 2014. They’ll be bringing along The Black Dahlia Murder, Gorguts and Noisem and this will be one of those Metal nights to remember. You’re excited I can see it in your face already.
Carcass visited the States a few months ago and instead of doing a larger tour only played a few dates and at smaller places so they sold out almost instantly. They were supporting their latest album which is the acclaimed “Surgical Steel”. I was fortunate enough to be a part of the NYC show at Gramercy Theatre with Immolation as support and it was destruction. Total, and complete destruction. The new album sounds great and hence the accolades for the opus and since I’ve also seen what Black Dahlia Murder does on the stage I can say we are in for a raucous night. Mind you I have not ever seen Gorguts nor Noisem so look forward to the chance to add them to my attended list.
