Abigail Williams Announces East Coast North American Tour

It’s always great when you get some information on an interesting musical project like Abigail Williams. I’ve been buried in NY Comic Con activities so this was a bit of a welcome Metal relief. Check out the poster and the full on skinny down below.

The Press Release:
Following a brutal month-long North American tour with Belphegor, Origin, and Shining this Summer, ABIGAIL WILLIAMS confirms a new set of East Coast tour dates with Wolvhammer and Amiensus for the Fall months.

The newly confirmed tour will see the caravan raiding the East Coast of the continent with thirteen new dates announced for late November into mid-December. The first show takes place in Rochester on November 29th, followed by sets in Portland, Somerville, Montreal, Syracuse, Manchester, Brooklyn, Clifton, Frederick, Pittsburgh, Dayton, Chicago, and Minneapolis through December 11th. Direct support for ABIGAIL WILLIAMS will be cohorts Wolvhammer and Amiensus. ABIGAIL WILLIAMS is plotting new material for a new LP to be released in 2017. Further info will be announced as it is available in the months ahead.

Wolves In The Throne Room Expand Fall Tour 2016

While I missed the first announcement that went out for the band, I felt it better late than never when they added additional dates for the upcoming September tour (especially since there are three shows in our own Big Metal Apple). The Wolves In The Throne Room are still rather new to my ears but a lot of the people I speak to regularly are interested in them so check out the poster, press copy and dates. WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM has added additional performances to their upcoming East Coast tour this September, following the re-issue of their debut LP, Diadem Of 12 Stars.

Since the upcoming WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM live dates were recently announced, a second show at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus Bar was added, both shows selling out immediately. Due to this, a third NYC show has been added, which will now see the band playing at The Marlin Room at Webster Hall on September 11th. Additionally, WITTR’s performance at Pop Montreal has been confirmed, which will see the band joining the likes of The Kills, John Waters, Wally Badarou, Diet Cig, and many more.

Abigail Williams & Today Is The Day Team-Up On Tour 2015

In trying to keep you readers up to speed on some of the Underground happenings as much as the jagunda ones, here is some press on a tour starting in a couple of weeks that features both Abigail Williams and Today Is The Day. American black metal legion, ABIGAIL WILLIAMS, will release their first new full-length in three years via Candlelight Records this October. Titled The Accuser and now featuring the punishing lineup of founding vocalist/guitarist Ken Sorceron (ex-Lord Mantis), guitarist Jeff Wilson (Wolvhammer, Chrome Waves, Doomsday, La Chant Funebre), and drummer Charlie Fell (Cobalt, ex-Lord Mantis, ex-Avichi) with recording bassist Will Lindsay (Indian, Lord Mantis, Anatomy Of Habit), the diseased offering was recorded, mixed and mastered in just five days by Sorceron at the band’s home studio in Olympia, Washington, boasts a guest appearance by Neill Jameson (Krieg, Twilight) and includes the tripnotic cover renderings of Portland-based illustrator/tattoo artist, Stevie Floyd (Dark Castle, Taurus).

The Scoop: Fear Factory are clearly the leaders in the cause for Industrial Metal enlightenment and for many years they have rallied the fans with exciting show after exciting show.
