Triumph, one of Canada’s most revered and influential rock bands, proudly announces their first tour in 30 years with the Triumph 50th Anniversary Tour, produced by Live Nation – an expansive 2026 North American run celebrating five decades of musical excellence, pioneering stagecraft, and a legacy that continues to inspire fans worldwide.

“Our fans have always been the heart of Triumph. Their energy, their belief, and the way they embraced the positivity in our music have carried us for fifty years. We’ve always said these songs were meant to bring people together – and that’s exactly why we’re coming back now. We knew there was still a chapter left to write. Tickets for the Triumph 50th Anniversary Tour with special guest April Wine, will be available beginning with a presale running Wednesday, December 10 through Thursday, December 11, giving fans early access to seats. American Express® Card Members in Canada can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Wednesday, December 10 at 10am local time through Thursday, December 11 at 11:59pm local time. The general on-sale follows on Friday, December 12 at 10am local time at livenation.com.

Rush Celebrates The 40th Anniversary Of “Rush” (1974-2014)

You are not reading this incorrectly nor do you need glasses to make more sense of the copy in front of you but its true – today is indeed the fortieth anniversary of the debut album by Canadian Progessive Rock Legends, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Rush!!! The album itself was much more in tune with other Hard Rock bands of the time such as Led Zeppelin and Cream and this made sense as this was the rising in popularity stuff in the youthful musicians around the world. The band at the time was Geddy Lee (on bass, vocals and keys), Alex Liefson (guitars) and John Rutsey (drums) and this would be the only recorded album to be released with Rutsey behind the kit. He would leave and be replaced by the great Neil Peart. Listening to it on its anniversary one has to wonder what the future might have held for Rush as a band if they stuck to this particular sound as opposed to morphing into the Progessive Rock juggernaut that they ended up.
