I’m just learning about this one and its a continuation of sorts of what we found in the “Day Of The Dead” film by George Romero. Though its cited as being remade from the one in 2008, it didn’t look like that premise at all to me but of course its been a while since I’ve seen it. Here’s the “Red Band” trailer which means its a lot more intense than a conventional one. Watch your back now……
The Plot: A small group of military personnel and some survivalists dwell in an underground bunker as they seek to find a cure in a world overrun by zombies.
Hey Gang! It’s nice to have you hear once again. Welcome to the continuing coverage from the 2017 NY Comic Con. If you are just joining us, I’m up to the fourth installment of the Day Two visuals. The Premise:
Ash vs. Evil Dead is an upcoming American horror comedy television series created by Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell for the Starz network. It is set in the Evil Dead franchise and serves as a sequel to The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness. The series stars Campbell reprising his role as Ash Williams from the Evil Dead films and video games. Jill Marie Jones, Ray Santiago, Dana Delorenzo and Lucy Lawless also star. The series is executive produced by Campbell, Raimi and Rob Tapert who originally produced the first film. The series is set to premiere on October 31, 2015. (from the shows Wiki).

A lot of my friends are big on “The Evil Dead” franchise and while I’ve never seen any of the films (I know, epic fail for sure) I just had to get a post up when the trailer was made available for the upcoming series “Ash Vs. Evil Dead”.
PiercingMetal Thoughts: Okay, so its clear that this is being presented with the same sense of dark humor that many of the “Evil Dead” films appeared to have which I guess is a good thing. I’d be interested in watching it but the series will air exclusively on the Starz network and that is a premium channel that I do not have access to. I only have HBO and Showtime but maybe there is an app that will let the general public see it a few weeks after it airs. Who knows. If not, I guess I will have to wait until it is presented on Netflix. What do you readers think of this trailer? Are you a fan of the premise and the series of films that preceded it?
