The CW Network: “Crisis On Infinite Earths” Extended Trailer

crisis on infinite earths tv logo

As a fan of the series of DC Comics superhero shows that air each and every week on The CW Entertainment network, one of the highlights is the crossover that brings these characters together for a unified cause. Some of the highlight crossovers for me was the “Crisis On Earth X” one and of course last year’s “Elseworlds” and now its time for the seeds that were planted in them to manifest in “Crisis On Infinite Earths”. The extended trailer was just revealed and the adventures begin this coming Sunday, December 8th. Take a look.

About The Crossover: “Crisis on Infinite Earths” is the upcoming sixth annual Arrowverse crossover event, featuring episodes of the live-action television series Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow on The CW. The Supergirl, Batwoman, and The Flash episodes will air in December 2019, while the Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow episodes will air in January 2020. Additionally, events in the Black Lightning episode “The Book of Resistance: Chapter Four: Earth Crisis”, airing between Batwoman and The Flash, will also tie-in to the crossover. A two-issue comic will also tie into the crossover, featuring characters and concepts not able to appear in the live-action episodes.

Tonight: “Legends Of Tomorrow” Season 4 Premiere On The CW Network (10/22/2018)

It was interesting to find The CW Network making us wait so long for all of the superhero shows but now that there are something like six of them, it makes sense to parse them out to not overwhelm the viewers. If you’ve not been paying attention, we’ve already touched upon the premieres of “Supergirl”, “Arrow”, “Black Lightning” and “The Flash” in posts of their own and ALL of these shows exist in the same universe of characters with the only exception being Black Lightning. Let’s take a glance at the cool season poster, the last season recap and some old and new casting.

Season 3 Recap: In season three, the team discover that they created anachronisms throughout time, and Rip has formed the Time Bureau to help fix them. Rip tells the team of the demon Mallus, whose follower Nora Darhk has resurrected her father Damien and Amaya’s granddaughter Kuasa, also recruiting Gorilla Grodd so that they can release Mallus from his prison by perverting history. The team loses both members of Firestorm, but is joined by Zari Tomaz, a hacktivist from 2042 whose air-controlling amulet is connected to Amaya’s totem, and Wally West / Kid Flash, a speedster formerly under the tutelage of the Flash.

Dig The CW Network “Crisis On Earth-X” Crossover Trailer

We’re only a few days away from this years crossover on The CW Entertainment network and as previously noted, the crossover will hit “Supergirl”, “Arrow”, “The Flash” and “Legends Of Tomorrow”. We’ve recently received a trailer for the epic event, and its presented below for your enjoyment. Then I repeated the overall premise and characters you will see over the four shows.

The Premise: Barry Allen and Iris West’s friends come to Central City for their wedding, only for the event to be disrupted by Nazi invaders from the parallel world Earth-X, including fascist doppelgängers of Barry’s allies Oliver Queen and Kara Danvers and enemy Eobard Thawne, who come to Earth-1 with a deadly agenda. In addition, the superheroes from Earth-X, including Citizen Cold (a doppelgänger of Leonard Snart) and The Ray, also arrive to help Barry and his friends to stop them. (thanks Wiki)

The Cast/Characters:
Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El/Kara Danvers/Supergirl/Kara-X/Overgirl

Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/Flash
Candice Patton as Iris West
Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost

Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary
Franz Drameh as Jefferson Jackson/Firestorm
Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen

Nick Zano as Nate Heywood/Steel
Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave
Russell Tovey as Ray Terrill/The Ray
Wentworth Miller as Leo-X/Citizen Cold
Prometheus-X, the Earth-X version of Prometheus, will appear in the episodes

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I felt that I said my peace when I showcased the poster in September, but I will repeat it once more for good measure “Last year’s “Invasion” story line was pretty good but I will have to say that I am super interested in this one since I know that Earth-X is the world in the Multiverse for the Freedom Fighters who I always enjoyed in the comics. Despite their very limited run of a series. I’ll cross my fingers that we get Uncle Sam somewhere in this or Human Bomb at least. Good characters that would make for interesting crossovers on this and future episodes. I still watch all four of the shows and am curious to see how Black Lightning will do when it makes its premiere”. What about you readers? Are you enjoying these programs and does this new crossover event pique your interest a little more after the trailer??? Let me know down below.

Tonight: “Legends Of Tomorrow” On The CW Network (10/10/2017)

Hey did you miss me? You had to know that I would be coming back with a quick summary about this evenings third season premiere of “Legends Of Tomorrow” which will air immediately after tonight’s episode of “The Flash” which has its own fourth season premiere and was discussed on THIS LINK if you missed it. If there is one thing that the New York Comic Con leaves us fans with, its a bevy of shows that are right up our alley. Down below you will see the “OFFICIAL POSTER” and I’ve snagged some Season 2 refresher and casting for you before tossing in my own thoughts on the matter. Here we go.

Season 2 Recap: In season two, with the Time Masters defeated, the team are left to guard the timeline themselves, and learn to cope in Rip’s absence after he disappears. However, they are continually plagued by the Legion of Doom, a time-travelling supervillain team led by Reverse Flash (Eobard Thawne), who has recruited past versions of Damien Darhk, Malcolm Merlyn, and Leonard Snart to help him find the Spear of Destiny of Biblical fame, with which they can rewrite their fates. The team is joined by new members Amaya Jiwe / Vixen, an African superhero from 1940s superhero team the Justice Society of America, and Nate Heywood / Steel, a modern-day historian with the power to become solid metal.
