Now Playing: Universal Pictures “Freaky” (11/13/2020)

Hello my Friends and a Happy Friday The 13th to you all. It’s my hope that it hasn’t been an overly creepy one at the onset because let’s face it, 2020 has been a bit of a disaster already. So today I’m back for one final time to share some news about the film “Freaky” which opens up today in a number of theaters. The Premise: Tormented high school student, Millie Kessler, becomes the newest target of Barney Garris, an infamous serial killer known as the Blissfield Butcher, during her senior year. When the killer’s magic dagger causes her to swap bodies with him, Millie discovers she has only a day to reverse the switch or else remain trapped as a middle-aged murderer hunted by the city, while the real killer – in her body – targets her classmates at Homecoming.

Now On Demand: Sony Pictures Releasing “The Craft: Legacy” (10/28/2020)

We’ve already touched upon the latest feature from the fine folks at Blumhouse Productions with their “The Craft: Legacy” feature and if you didn’t see our post about the Official Trailer just click HERE to be more up to speed on it. Since going to the movies isn’t that easy an option under the current climate, this film is now available On Demand so check your providers of such content if it interests you at all. Universal Pictures: “Freaky” – “Slaughterhouse” Clip

Well hello again my friends, I am back to discuss the Universal Pictures Horror/Comedy “Freaky” with you once again. When we last met it was to showcase the Official Trailer (seen HERE) and now they have released a clip called “Slaughterhouse”. That sounds pretty dramatic don’t you think? I know I do and after you see this one you can examine the provided premise and the casting before my always wisdom laden closing editorial thoughts. Let’s go.

It’s been almost 25 years since the film “The Craft” spellbound us with a tale of four young witches who sought to change the way their lives were and now, thanks to the folks at Blumhouse Productions comes the sequel “The Craft: Legacy”.
