Following on from 2014/2017’s black vinyl releases and 2015’s Mastered for iTunes project, The Studio Collection – Remastered features recordings taken from the same remasters as the 2015 hi-res digital releases. Blaze Bayley Announces North American Tour

This news was surely some exciting stuff to see and enjoy with the morning coffee. It seems as though singer Blaze Bayley is returning to our shores. Check it out below.

The Press Release:
Over the years, a whole new appreciation has developed for the “Blaze Bayley era” of Iron Maiden – which resulted in such classic albums as 1995’s ‘X Factor’ and 1998’s ‘Virtual XI’ (and the singles “Man on the Edge,” “Lord of the Flies,” “The Angel and the Gambler,” “Futureal,” and an all-new track on 1996’s Best of the Beast comp, “Virus”).

And recently, Bayley (who was also the singer for another highly-respected rock band, Wolfsbane) has released his latest solo effort (a second in a trilogy of release), entitled ‘Endure and Survive (Infinite Entanglement Part II). Check out the video of the new song, “Escape Velocity,” here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJTXqHA2eYs&feature=youtu.be

And with the album’s release comes the announcement of an extensive North American tour, which starts August 9th on the east coast, and will run to September 9th on the west coast.

“I’m so excited about coming to USA and Canada for the ‘Endure and Survive’ part of my ‘Infinite Entanglement’ tour,” explains Blaze. “I have great memories of touring there with Wolfsbane and Iron Maiden. I’ll be doing a few songs from those days and some songs from my new albums. As a thank you to my fans for waiting so long for this tour, I will be doing a free meet and greet after every show, signing any CDs and albums that I’m featured on. I’m fitting in as many towns and cities as I can on this tour and I’m hoping it will be possible to tour USA and Canada every year if fans want me to return.”

Soon, North American fans will be able to hear Iron Maiden classics and solo material performed on stage by one of the great rock singers of recent times, Blaze Bayley!

PiercingMetal Thoughts: As I’ve a mountain of things to do today I will keep this short and simple and say be sure to catch one of Blazes shows if he is coming to a venue near you. Having seen him deliver the goods twice already as a solo artist and once when he fronted the legendary Iron Maiden, I can say that if you want an energetic show with an engaging and positive to the Metal leading man then you get yourself a ticket. I always remember the time when he played B.B. King’s for the first time and told the audience that he wanted to say hello to each and every one of them afterwards. He did just that and made many peoples night. He did the same when he played around with Trinity even if they didn’t mention it up on the stage at my show. You don’t find this happening much nowadays and its good to know that some musicians are as interested in us as we are in them. So with that said, what do you think about this return tour? Let me know down in the comments section below.

Win A Ticket To Trinity @ B.B. King Blues Club On 11/27/2016

The Details: The combined vocal power of Geoff Tate, Tim “Ripper” Owens and Blaze Bayley are united under the touring project known as Trinity and New York City Metal fans are going to lose their minds as the former front men of Queensryche, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden stand together on the same stage. Classic songs are par for the course with this one and I don’t think that they have ever toured together before. Speaking frankly it’s been years since I’ve seen any of them perform as well and that makes me happy to announce that thanks to the powers that be at the venerated B.B. King Blues Club, several readers of the PiercingMetal site are going to see this show for free. Read below on how to participate.

When and Where: Sunday, November 27th at B.B. King Blues Club 7:30pm (237 West 42nd Street NYC)

To Participate:
In the past I have stuck to a standard of giving me three things about the performer that was being showcased but with three titanic artists I am going to have to test your mettle just a little bit more. With this one I would like you to give me two things that you like most about each of these performers. You can do three if you like for better reading but two is a must and please number and label them properly. Make it good stuff and not the whole “cuz they rule dude” because that is just not trying at all and will make me question your skills. Please note this is for a single ticket only and no plus one requests will be honored. Sorry to do that but hey if you win you can always help your friend pay for a ticket or buy them something to drink inside the venue (provided you are of age to do so). I’ll be selecting winners from the submissions and letting them know directly below their entry. Kindly review these guidelines.
