Cruel World Festival Announces Full Lineup

I’ve joked how Tuesday isn’t just for tacos anymore and now offers up a number of concert and festival announcements. If you don’t believe me just refer to the news that came from the Deftones and Wardruna who have revealed their touring plans. Now while we are fixated on the NYC territory and don’t get too much out of it, when an event like this “Cruel World Festival” gets announced you have to help share the news. Take a look at the poster and a clearer visual of the lineup.

The Press Release:
Today, Goldenvoice announced Cruel World taking place Saturday, May 2 at The Grounds at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles, California. This one-day-only event will feature performances by Morrissey, Bauhaus, Blondie, Devo, The Psychedelic Furs, Echo & The Bunnymen, Violent Femmes and many more. Fans can access the Cruel World Fest presale code via the website, giving them early access to tickets. Register now with a valid (US/CAN) mobile number to receive a presale code and the link to buy tickets before they go on sale. The presale begins Thursday, February 13 at 12:00 PM pacific time.

The Dollyrots @ Berlin

The Dollyrots will bring their Pop Punk to life in NYC with their set at the intimate Berlin Under A. This show was initially scheduled for Coney Island Baby but was moved.

Before I get into this one, you might be wondering why you are seeing all the broadcast premiere posts today and the quickest answer is because most of our readership and I are very interested in these shows. The other reason is because I no longer have the PiercingMetal Musings blog to facilitate them to you. Remember PiercingMetal.com is now one big burger deluxe from here on in.
