Last month, the guys in Rammstein announced a full North American stadium tour and if you missed all the finer details about that just click HERE to be up to date. Yesterday, the world at large got a glimpse into just what a build of their touring stage looks like and to say that it is impressive would be an understatement. Watch the amazing time lapse video below.
PiercingMetal Thoughts: Whew. Here I thought that a KISS or a Trans-Siberian Orchestra tour had a stage build to contend with. Alright, they do of course but despite their mutual awesome they are nothing like this creation. Having looked at this clip a few times, it made me wonder what kind of LEGO building set it might be if the proper expert creator of that stuff took a go at it. I realize that’s a strange revelation but I did just attend the annual Toy Fair so a lot of things like that are on my mind. It’s entirely possible because someone made a Tool diorama not too long ago so why not. It’s too early to know if I will be in attendance at the September show when the group is in my area but I sure hope to be there. If I am you will aware of it for sure with clips, and Instagram pics from the experience along with the eventual show review. See you next time.
[MESSAGE FROM THE CLERGY] We wish to inform you Papa Nihil has been feeling particularly nostalgic as of late…Chapter 8 is available now for your viewing pleasure.
PiercingMetal Thoughts: As a fan of history, I have to say that I really enjoyed this latest chapter because it gives the Flock a great look at some rare and truly vintage performance footage from times long ago when Papa Nihil was heralding the charge and the message. Dare I say that this was very “Groovy” and had lots and lots of soul (or is it souls????). You gotta also love the quasi-Beatles coif that Papa was sporting. Now the tune while approximately 50 years old has stood up across the sands of time and I am glad to find them considering a re-release for all of the newbies to their brand of sonic soul procurement. Could Papa 0 be considering a return to the stage with all of the original Nameless Ghouls? Let’s raise the interest by sharing this clip and rallying behind them by posting to social networks and speaking about it to the hapless passerby on the street. The Clergy summons, and I’d suggest you comply. Until next time.
[MESSAGE FROM THE CLERGY] We wish to inform you all work and no play makes Papa…
PiercingMetal Thoughts: I love these clips and to summarize and analyze what we saw here, it seems like the Cardinal is taxing the last good nerve of Papa Nihil. Could a change in the ranks be far from happening? All we can do is wait with anticipation on the next chapter and see what will come to pass. Redro is “order” spelled backwards, so could a reverse of the snap set things right once more in the world of Ghost. Oh, my bad that’s a different franchise entirely but I think you get my meaning. Only time will tell. The Flock is waiting….
Message From The Clergy: We wish to inform you the story continues. Chapter 6 is available for viewing…
PiercingMetal Thoughts: It looks like Sister Imperator will soon be back to work for the ministry now that she is all healed up after her accident which is a good thing indeed. During her absence, the band Ghost has been keeping busy and just recently completed their “A Pale Tour Named Death” run of dates. Sadly, I myself missed it (not for lack of trying to be a part of the madness) but fortunately our own Kat Electric was in attendance and documented an in-depth show report so I could be there in my mind. That summary was posted HERE in case you missed it. With The Cardinal and Papa 0 set to take care of her for the time being, one can only imagine the kind of madness that will ensure across future chapters. Speaking frankly, I hope that there is still a chance to catch the Cardinal in concert before another Papa manifests because I’ve never witnessed his glorious Metal mass yet and would hate to have missed out completely. What do you readers think is coming next? Chime in down below.
By now you’ve seen all of the commercials for the film and maybe some of you were lucky enough to be a part of the advance screenings in NYC earlier in the week but if not, today is the day that “Bohemian Rhapsody” opens up in theaters everywhere. Let’s take a look at the Official Theatrical Poster along with some premise and casting. If you missed the Final Trailer for the film, please click HERE to check that out as I’ve also included some of the other posters that accompany the promotion of the release.
Synopsis: Described as a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near-implosion as Mercury’s lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid, where Mercury, facing a life-threatening illness, leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. In the process, cementing the legacy of a band that were always more like a family, and who continue to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day.
