The Grammy Awards nominations were revealed earlier today and while this is an extremely lengthy list we are only going to laud the noms for the Rock, Metal and Alternative categories here on the website. A full rundown will be on “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” website after some considerable editing. When we look at this in Word its more than thirty pages but I digress, here now are the nominations of the categories we focus on at the PiercingMetal Media Command HQ.

Earlier today the nominees for the 2021 Grammy Awards were announced and I always like to dissect that lengthy summary to spotlight what has been nominated for the music that we are more in tune with here on the PiercingMetal website. That means I am taking the Rock, Metal and Alternative out of the pile and putting it on the side for your edification. Here now are the Grammy nominations for these categories which I culled from their resources directly.

Today alternative, chart topping artists Beck and Cage The Elephant announced a North American co-headline tour across amphitheaters this summer – The Night Running Tour. Both artists are known for their amazing live performances and the energy they bring to their shows, making this an incredible co-headlining tour fans of both bands will not want to miss. They will be joined by special guest Spoon on all dates. Starcrawler, Sunflower Bean and Wild Belle will open as well in select cities. See full itinerary and details below.

Produced by Live Nation, the 28-city tour kicks off July 11th in Ridgefield, WA at Sunlight Supply Amphitheater and will make stops in Irvine, Las Vegas, Austin, Chicago and more before wrapping August 30th in West Palm Beach, FL at Coral Sky Amphitheatre at the S. Presenting The 2019 Grammy Award Winners In Rock & Metal

Tonight, the Recording Industry is in a tizzy for “The Biggest Night In Music” (but that’s their own branding and not those of us here in the trenches support that which Rocks and Makes The Metal. Based on the time that I am posting this, we are still about 45 minutes away from the broadcast of the 2019 Grammy Awards but you Heavy Music loyalists don’t even have to tune in since they have already given out the awards for the five (count ’em FIVE) Rock and Metal Categories. I’ve listed those winners down below and left those who were also nominated to you can have a point of argument if your favorite didn’t end up winning the Grammy. Let’s go.
