Presenting The 2024 Juno Awards Nominations for Rock and Metal

In a constant quest to be more globally accessible, we often include items from our nearby nations such as Canada and their own music awards, The Junos. The nominations for the 2024 awards have just been revealed and I’ve edited the massive list to feature those in the Rock and Metal categories. Presenting The 66th Grammy Award Winners For Rock and Metal

At the time of this writing and publishing the post, the 66th Grammy Awards are already in progress on CBS and while I am not watching the proceedings I am able to share with you all the artists that won the “Rock and Metal” categories. They were revealed to the masses online and not a part of the show because why would anyone want to see Rock Artists on the program after all. Take a look and please enjoy that I’ve kept on including the Alternative categories as well.

Presenting The Game Awards Nominees for 2023

As most of our readers know by now, the PiercingMetal site is always trying to up their content game by adding all sorts of different creative avenues. It’s been heavily entrenched in the Pop Culture scene with all the comics, film, television and toy content and since there are some topical awards shows to feature this post is going to pay some attention to one of them. The Game Awards show seems very interesting and before we get down to the nominees for this years awards let’s take a look at what Wikipedia has to say about it.

The Game Awards is an annual awards ceremony honoring achievements in the video game industry. Established in 2014, the shows are produced and hosted by game journalist Geoff Keighley, who worked on its predecessor, the Spike Video Game Awards, for over ten years. In addition to the awards, The Game Awards features premieres of upcoming games and new information on previously-announced titles. (c/o Wiki)

Presenting The 2024 Grammy Nominations for Rock and Metal

It was just a short time ago that the Recording Academy had announced the nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards and as is the usual practice here at the Metal Media High Command HQ, I’ve culled that almost 100 category list to serve up the nominations for the Rock and Metal releases. I’ve even kept to the inclusion of the Alternative stuff as well since sometimes that gets really close to the kind of stuff we are listening to as fans. There were some interesting nominations this time around.

Best Rock Performance – For new vocal or instrumental solo, duo/group or collaborative rock recordings.

Nominations Announced for the 3rd Annual Critics Choice Super Awards

The Press Release:
The Critics Choice Association (CCA) announced today the nominees for the 3rd Annual Critics Choice Super Awards, honoring the most popular, fan-obsessed genres across both television and movies, including Superhero, Science Fiction/Fantasy, Horror, and Action. Winners will be revealed via a special announcement on Thursday, March 16.

“The Batman” leads this year’s film nominees, earning six nominations including Best Superhero Movie. Robert Pattinson, Paul Dano, and Colin Farrell each received nods for Best Actor in a Superhero Movie, while Zoë Kravitz is up for Best Actress in a Superhero Movie. Paul Dano could also take home the award for Best Villain in a Movie.
