The last time I discussed his “Yoshikimono”, it was indeed on “The Chronicles” in an article you can examine HERE. This time I’ve posted the news here because it had a healthy dose of geek to it as well. Enjoy.

Relieved and optimistic that he will be back on his feet and in action, Peter himself has issued the following message:

“Following my recent episode in New York City with my heart attack and being admitted into Lenox Hill Hospital and seeing myself go through the rigors of intensive care, I am very happy to say that I have made a full recovery. Thanks to the superb team of doctors, specialists, nurses and care staff. I am so glad to say I am up and running again. My tour manager Brian Lowe and my assistant Chantal Thomas were directly instrumental in saving my life and to whom I cannot thank enough. I also want to thank every single friend and fan who has been supporting me throughout this ordeal. I remain grateful especially to my Bauhaus band mates”.

xxx Peter.

On Tuesday, August 13, 2019, Peter suffered a heart attack during his twelve date residency at New York City’s Le Poisson Rouge. Unable to take the stage for that evening’s show, he was rushed to Lenox Hill Hospital where he was diagnosed and received life-saving angioplasty.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I don’t have much to add to the mix here but just wanted to be sure to share the most recent update on Peter’s incident from his media side of the fence since I know a lot of our readers are longtime fans and many were even hitting some of the residency dates. As far as those shows that were supposed to take place are concerned, when they get rescheduled you can count on my listing them on our Events Calendar as I did with the shows that took place. I am glad to find Peter getting the excellent prognosis and I am sure that his most ardent fans will be enjoying him in concert sooner than later. Chime in below if you’d care to add some thoughts, it’s always nice to hear what the readers have to say. See you next time around.
