Truth be told, Monday’s haven’t sucked at all when it comes to announcing some killer Heavy Metal touring runs and this latest news from those mighty Vikings in Amon Amarth surely will bring new levels of excitement to their fans worldwide. Check out the full press release down below.
The Press Release:
This September heavy metal overlords Amon Amarth will descend from the land of ice and snow to headline a history-making charge across North America with fellow Swedish warlords Arch Enemy, At The Gates and Grand Magus, and carnage is on the menu.
The Berserker World Tour, presented by The Noise will be a showcase of the riffing havoc captured on their 11th studio album, Berserker, and will treat fans to the kind of pulverising riffage and sublime, fist-in-the-air anthems the band have come to be known for, because no words are more synonymous with Amon Amarth than unrivaled songcraft and unswerving commitment to no-bullshit heavy fucking metal – and now they have a landmark tour to match.

Sweden Rock Announces More Acts For 2019
The Scoop: The organizers of the Sweden Rock have unveiled a crop of amazing bands that will be joining the 2019 Festival, and since you need to know this information I am sharing it with you right here on PiercingMetal.com – Just in case the poster isn’t clear on whatever screen you are reading us on, here are the bands so far: KISS, Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow, Def Leppard, Amon Amarth, Demons and Wizards, Arch Enemy, Hammerfall, Original Krokus, Skid Row, At The Gates, Annihilator, Magnum, Joe Lynn Turner, Uli Jon Roth, Death Angel, Demon, Beast In Black and “65” more acts are yet to be announced. According to their Facebook Page, they lined out that this years event sold out in a week when it went on sale, so you are going to want to pay attention to that…..check out the poster so far……(queue dramatic music).
PiercingMetal Thoughts: Now before I say anything on this, I should explain that I’ve never been to ANY of the European Festivals and when I see posters and lineups like this one, it almost makes me cry. I’ve not managed to get across the pond as they say as its just not logistically possible for me to wrangle the necessary finances for it but I digress. What I love about Festivals like this one is how on point they always seem to be. With bands like KISS announcing their “End Of The Road” World Tour (discussed earlier today on THIS LINK), I’m planning on seeing them whenever I can and they are only the tip of the iceberg of bands that I am interested in who are performing at this festival. That’s all I have for now but you readers can tell me what you think about the matter down in the comments section below. Please lets all discuss.

Arch Enemy Postpones North American “Will To Power” Tour
It wasn’t long ago back in May where we shared the news about the upcoming Arch Enemy “Will To Power” North American Tour and as August warms itself up for a solid month of Metal awareness with a cup of coffee we must share that this entire run of dates has been postponed due to “circumstances”. Check out the bands statement below and the dates you’ll need to get a refund for.
The Press Release:
“We very much regret to inform you that we will be postponing our return to North America until 2019. We were looking forward to seeing everyone again this Fall and to share our stage with Goatwhore and Uncured, but we have been forced to cancel this run due to reasons beyond our control. It’s very unfortunate timing, but we cannot wait to come back and rock US soil again next year and see all your faces! Thank you for understanding and as always for your support of Arch Enemy! Refunds are available at point of purchase.”
