I’m of the vintage where I was able to see the first film that featured Indiana Jones film in the theaters early in its run and I loved it quite a bit and recall being on the edge of my seat for much of it. Most of the film buff readers know that this didn’t even have his name in the title and ran under “Raiders Of The Lost Ark”. It’s hard to believe that this was some thirty one years ago but now Indy has returned for the fifth chapter in his story with “Indiana Jones and The Dial Of Destiny”. The first trailer was just released from Lucasfilm and I’ve got that along with the casting, basic premise and some promotional art. Check it out.
The Plot: In 1969, American archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones lives against the backdrop of the Space Race. Jones had started to feel doubts when the U.S. Government recruited former World War II enemies in their desperation to beat the Soviet Union out in the competition to make it to space. His goddaughter, Helena, accompanies him on his journey.[2][3] Meanwhile, Voller, a NASA member and ex-Nazi involved with the moon-landing program, wishes to make the world into a better place as he sees fit. It’s been a couple of months since we last had the upcoming Sony Pictures film “Uncharted” as a topic and that was for the Official Trailer that was discussed HERE. In that narrative I pointed out that I wasn’t too “up” on this particular property but since we love sharing the trailers for releases that pique our demographics interests it made the most sense. With that being said here is the second Official Trailer for “Uncharted” starring Tom Holland. As with the previous post I’ve added the premise, casting and some updated artwork.
The Premise: Taking place years before the events of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, a young Nathan Drake and his partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan go up against a wealthy, ruthless fortune hunter and his mercenaries to claim “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to Drake’s long-lost brother. Nowadays it’s not as uncommon to find a movie based on a video game series coming to life on the big screen. We’ve seen this in numerous “Resident Evil” adaptations over the years and even the fairly recent “Mortal Kombat” so now its “Uncharted” that’s taking a turn. The film stars Tom Holland (Spider-Man) and comes care of Sony Pictures. The first trailer has dropped so I’ve got that for you down below along with the premise, casting and provided artwork. Enjoy.

So a lot has happened since the teaser trailer for “The New Mutants” first came to our collective attention back in October 2017. Yes my friends, its been that long so let’s recap for any of those who are not up to speed. First up, this film was supposed to come before “Dark Phoenix” to the best of my knowledge but it didn’t. Then Disney would end up purchasing 20th Century Fox Studios (discussed HERE) and that returned the whole group of X-Men, Fantastic Four and assorted other connected characters to the eventual control of Marvel Studio. Insert sigh of relief here. The original trailer for the film left many for want (see for yourself HERE) and it was reported that test screenings did not go well. Then “Dark Phoenix” came out and was a bomb and shortly after that, Disney and Marvel Studios released “Avengers: Endgame” which became the highest grossing movie of all time (discussed HERE). Most of us wondered if this film would see the light of day and well, it looks like it will and a brand-new trailer is here to see some two years after the first one. Let’s look.
