Paramount+ Presents: “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” Official Trailer

Greetings my fellow Starfleet cadets, I am back once more to discuss the soon to be premiering series “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”. Some of you might recall that this topic was touched upon back in March with the Teaser Trailer clip (seen HERE if you missed it) and now its time to check out the Official Trailer. Let’s boldly go and check it out together (sorry, I couldn’t resist). Enjoy.

The Premise: Star Trek: Strange New Worlds follows Captain Christopher Pike and the crew of the starship USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) in the 23rd century as they explore new worlds throughout the galaxy in the decade before Star Trek: The Original Series. It has a contemporary take on that series’ episodic storytelling and 1960s designs, and features the following narration from Mount during each episode’s opening credits (similarly to the opening narrations in The Original Series and Star Trek: The Next Generation):

Paramount+ Presents: “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” Teaser Trailer

Clearly Paramount+ is as dedicated to the “Star Trek” properties as Disney+ is to “Star Wars” and premiering shortly after the close of the second season of “Star Trek: Picard”, we will get “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”. A teaser trailer has just dropped so I’ve embedded it down below and added in some premise, casting and available artwork. Take a look.

Now Streaming: “Star Trek: Discovery” on CBS All Access (10/15/2020)

Despite the continuing restrictions and issues surrounding the Coronavirus Pandemic, we’ve been able to keep serving up some entertainment thanks to all of the shows that are returning to either your streaming service of choice or video on demand. Starting today, the third season of “Star Trek: Discovery” will begin episodically showing new chapters which means you cannot binge this one. Well, you can if you wait until its all finished but not otherwise. I’ve discussed the new season before with the Official Trailer and the Opening Scene which you can enjoy by clicking the highlighted text. Now if you subscribe you can enjoy the poster, premise of the season and the casting. I’ll close out with some editorial as well.

In the second season, after the war has ended, Discovery investigates seven mysterious signals and a strange figure known as the “Red Angel”. This conflict ends with the Discovery travelling to the 32nd century, more than 900 years into their future.

CBS All Access: “Star Trek: Discovery” Season 3 Opening Scene

Back in September, I shared the Official Trailer for the third season of “Star Trek: Discovery” which can be viewed HERE in the event that you missed it. Now, with the NYCC Metaverse underway in place of the annual New York Comic Con (sobbing), the first few minutes of the season premiere have been revealed. You can enjoy that and more down below. CBS All Access: “Star Trek: Discovery” Season 3 Official Trailer

Fans of the Star Trek franchise will be excited to know that the series “Star Trek: Discovery” will be getting itself a third season. What they might not like all that much is that they will need a subscription to CBS All Access to enjoy it.
