I guess it was about a month ago that we last touched upon this topic which shared the Official Trailer for the new HBO Max series “The Last Of Us”. If you missed that trailer and need a little bit of visual background you should click HERE to be up to speed. The gamers of the world are well versed in the premise of “The Last Of Us” which is apparently about surviving a post-Apocalyptic scenario and making it safely from point A to point B and while it sounds interesting, I haven’t played and don’t really consider myself the biggest gamer out there. I’d love to do more of that but there is only so much time in the day. The games popularity have led it to becoming a series that will be broadcast on the HBO Max streaming service. I’ve embedded the trailer, some premise and casting along with promotional art down below so let’s get on with the show. Presenting the first Official Trailer for “The Last Of Us”. Enjoy.

According to their Wikipedia entry, “The Saturn Awards are American awards presented annually by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films. The awards were created to honor science fiction, fantasy, and horror in film, but have since grown to reward other films belonging to genre fiction, as well as television and home media releases. The Saturn Awards were created in 1973 and were originally referred to as Golden Scrolls”.

As I pointed out in the post with all of the nominations a couple of months ago, I am on a quest to make the Pop Culture and Entertainment content of the PiercingMetal site even more interesting. I’m continuing on with the practice of following this particular awards show based on its overall premise that the films and shows they feature are right up my alley.
