Apple TV and Legendary Television’s “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” Season 2 Date Announcement

Though I am not a subscriber to the Apple TV+ streaming service, I was very happy to learn that the prequel series to the recent “Monsterverse” films would be getting a second season. I’m of course talking about “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” which just had a video announcing said second season drop. I’ve shared that down below along with the basic premise and the casting that I culled from the show’s Wikipedia entry. Take a look.

The Premise: In 2015, one year after the re-emergence of Godzilla,[a] half-siblings Cate and Kentaro Randa investigate their missing father Hiroshi’s connection to Monarch, the covert organization monitoring giant monsters known as Titans or MUTOs (“Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organisms”.) Two generations earlier, Bill Randa and Keiko Miura are scientists involved with the early development of Monarch. Former Army officer Lee Shaw becomes a close ally to the Randa family across both time periods (c/o Wiki).

Now Streaming: Legendary Television’s “Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters” on Apple TV (11/17/2023)

The world of the MonsterVerse is an exciting one and so many of us have been pining for more content since the “Godzilla Vs. Kong” film from a few years ago. These wishes were granted in the form of this new streaming series called “Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters” and we’ve touched upon this topic with the Teaser and Official trailers over the last few months. If you’ve missed those posts just click the hyperlinked text to launch them. The series premieres today on the Apple TV streaming service and you can check out the premise and casting once again to see if this compels you to subscribe to this particular service.

If you’ve been missing the world of the MonsterVerse since the “Godzilla Vs. Universal Pictures: “Fast & Furious 9” Official Trailer

Fans of the “Fast & Furious” franchise of bombastic chases and explosions and intrigue and action will be pleased to find the release of the ninth chapter in these characters stories coming out this April. As you know, I’ve really pushed our Pop Culture items up a notch and will not only be adding the occasional Horror clip and summaries to our content, but also these big screen Action Adventure films as well since our core audience is a lock for such things. Let’s take a look at the first trailer which was just recently revealed by the folks at Universal Pictures.

The Premise: After the events of “The Fate of the Furious” (from 2017), Dominic Toretto and his family must face Dominic’s younger brother Jakob, a deadly assassin, who is working with their old enemy Cipher, and who holds a personal vendetta against Dominic.
