Greetings Readers and welcome back to the continuing presentations from the 2019 New York Comic Con. I’m now up to Day Two of the offerings but if you missed any of the Day One stuff you are so going to want to click HERE first to enjoy all of the chapters that preceded this one. I say this since I tend to refer back to pieces across the journey and I don’t want you to fall behind. Go ahead and look, I’ll wait – welcome back 🙂 So after Day One ended, I headed up to Paul Booth’s Last Rites Gallery to see the unveiling of a brand new graphic novel that is based on story ideas from Black Veil Brides singer Andy Black. Check out that summary by clicking THIS LINK.
To start off my day, I hit a press conference, panel or whatever that was called “From The Stage To The Page” and this was going to feature notable musical talent who have all worked on the comic book medium. Among these artists are Steve Aoki, Andy Black, Lights and the legendary Darryl McDaniels (aka DMC). Here are a few visuals from the panel, I did not record anything because I don’t think that ReedPOP likes that stuff. Don’t want to mess with the organizers after all.
Congratulations readers you have safely arrived at the final batch of posts for the 2016 NY Comic Con. I’ve been doing this sort of post for a couple of weeks in order to make sure I got all of the necessary images to your favorite device. Today begins the Sunday session of NYCC which is the “Family Day” event. That means a whole LOT of little ones are scurrying about so you need to pay attention. If you are just now joining into the proceedings please click on THIS LINK first since it will bring you a rundown of all the chapters that have been posted before this one. I’ll start my visuals with a super team of creatives in Marjorie Liu and Amy Chu. I need to look more into Marjorie’s work as “Monstress” sure sounds interesting. Amy is known to me for her work on the brand new KISS Comic which I have read in previews. They were at the Comixology table signing the trading cards with their faces on them.
Well hello once again dear readers and fans of NY Comic Con, I am here once again to present another chapter in the adventures that I took at the 2013 event over at Javits Center. Now I’ve been dishing out the Day Three stuff for quite a few days already but as you know this is based on just how busy that particular day is. I spent a fair amount of time in the Artist Alley at this point in the day and was glad to feature all of these creative types. I’ll label as needed but most of the folks have their sign in the photo as well, let’s walk.
Here’s Danny Fingeroth and he was showcasing a lot of his writing work today for all to enjoy.
