These variant editions were announced a few days ago but since they are coming out in the Fall, there was no need to rush the information to you. Now with a break in the crazy music life, I can address them and share the official scoop on the “How To Draw” variant covers that are heading our way in the Fall. They’ll be done by Chip Zdarsky and you can get the full skinny down below and then see some of the provided covers. Sadly, they don’t send them all out in these mailers. Oh well.

First appearing on the back of a blank variant cover on Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #1, HOW TO DRAW VARIANTS will debut on the covers of select Marvel comics this fall. Each custom cover features a step-by-step process for drawing one of Marvel’s iconic characters – along with some helpful “Zdarsky Advice” for good measure.
