Presenting The Roxodus Music Fest, Coming This July!

With the news about the upcoming Woodstock 50th Anniversary Festival being somewhat up in the air based on reports that its been cancelled (discussed HERE) and then a counter statement by its founder that it will still happen (discussed HERE), its nice to see a brand-new music festival sending out some news. This is a bonafide Hard Rock and Classic Rock event and something that has a lot of artists that I am curious about so read more about it down below the logo. Enjoy.

Thousands of music fans will gather this summer in Edenvale, Ontario, with views of the stunning Blue Mountain hills, 90 mins north of Toronto and 10 mins from Wasaga Beach for the first annual ROXODUS Festival – an epic four-day event running July 11-14, 2019. A once in a lifetime experience with a stellar line up of iconic artists, ROXODUS is promising to be the must-attend event of the summer incorporating the best in music, food, and the arts. The guys in Aerosmith are returning to Vegas for a second residency and the details in full are down below.

America’s all-time top-selling rock ‘n’ roll band, Aerosmith, is bringing the heat to the Las Vegas Strip with their headlining residency, AEROSMITH: DEUCES ARE WILD. Shows begin Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Park Theater at the new Park MGM resort.

Aerosmith’s Las Vegas residency, promoted by Live Nation and MGM Resorts International, will bring you face to face with America’s Greatest Rock ‘N’ Roll band in one of the most immersive, state-of-the art audio and video technology experiences in Las Vegas. The show features never-seen-before visuals and audio from Aerosmith recording sessions. GRAMMY Award winning producer Giles Martin, known for creating the soundscape for The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas, will create a spectacular show experience.

Aerosmith has teamed up with THX and L-Acoustics for their upcoming breakthrough residency at Park Theater to deliver the world’s first THX Certified live performance presented in L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound. Aerosmith Announces The “Blue Army Tour” For 2015

You gotta love a band like Aerosmith who successfully finish one massive tour and return with another for the following year. This one is called the “Blue Army Tour” and doesn’t strike me as being as long as the last go round but that is more because it’s about 300 posts on PiercingMetal ago for me when it comes down to it. The Press Release:
Following their wildly successful and acclaimed 2014 Let Rock Rule tour, AEROSMITH–Rock’s greatest live act–will return to the road June 13 with their “Blue Army Tour 2015.” The trek will take the band’s all original members–Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Joey Kramer, Tom Hamilton, and Brad Whitford–to 15 cities before concluding in Grand Rapids, MI on Tuesday, August 4.

Says Joe Perry: “The name Blue Army came from the fact that ‘everyone’ in our audience from the 70’s were wearing blue denim and it looked like a sea of blue, thus The Blue Army.”

Immediately following the tour, AEROSMITH will perform on Friday, August 7 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s first-ever Concert for Legends. The concert–part of the 2015 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival–will pay tribute to the legends of the game on the eve of the Enshrinement for the Class of 2015.

The band just recently completed their tour and now its time for its legendary guitarist Joe Perry to do some promotional appearances for his new book “Rocks: My Life In And Out Of Aerosmith”. It’s always great to share a tour announcement with you when its about a band like Aerosmith. The band recently unveiled the full details about their “Let Rock Rule” tour that is going to bring Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Co-Conspirators along for the ride.
