It was only a few short days ago that I shared the trailer for the new season of AHS with their “American Horror Story: Apocalypse” and if you didn’t see that please click HERE to check that out. It looks creepy and that series begins tonight so get your DVR programmed or be home on time to see it as it broadcasts. Here is the dramatic poster which I’ve followed with the casting and brief premise.
Premise: After the nuclear apocalypse, the world’s chosen elite survive in secure outposts created by the mysterious Cooperative in “American Horror Story: Apocalypse.” On the American West Coast, Ms. Wilhemina Venable and Ms. Miriam Mead run Outpost Three with an iron fist. The unexpected arrival of Michael Langdon, a Cooperative representative determined to save society with a secret paradise, throws their order into chaos. However, underneath the surface of humanity’s salvation lies a battlefield for the final conflict between good and evil. (quoting YouTube). If you’ve been following the FX Original Series “American Horror Story” for any length of time, you will be happy to know that not only will it be returning in the coming days but that this brand new epic will bring us to the end of the world as we know it (feel free to hum along to REM’s classic song). With that being said, here now is the trailer for “American Horror Story: Apocalypse”. Dim the lights and let’s take a look
Fans of the anthology series “American Horror Story” will likely be interested as the seventh season begins tonight with the brand new story line “Cult”. Check out the creepy poster, some assumed premise and the cast below.
The Premise: I’ve read that the beginning of this season will play on the stuff we have found happening at the onset of the recent Election. Sure why not, because its not like there isn’t anything crazy going on with the administration that has the world of Facebook on its ears already. I guess that this will also play with some cult figures over the years but since there was NOT an official series premise on the Wikipedia where I cull some investigative stuff from I cannot say anymore. Horror fans must be delighted that the anthology series “American Horror Story” is now at its sixth season with “Roanoke”; and I admit that I almost didn’t even see this one coming based on all the other stuff I’ve had to deliver to your table in terms of the Heavy Music scene and our comics and toy coverages from all the conventions. Whew. Are you planning on watching this one? Check your local listings for times and availability for you to program it or catch On Demand and then examine the poster, premise and cast down below.
Plot: Presented as a paranormal documentary series titled My Roanoke Nightmare in the first half of the season, the story follows a married couple whose experiences are reenacted by actors. Shelby and Matt Miller move from Los Angeles, California, to a house in North Carolina following a brutal assault which left Matt temporarily hospitalized and caused Shelby to have a miscarriage. As soon as the couple settles into their new home, located on a farmstead in rural North Carolina where the Roanoke Colony settled after their infamous disappearance, strange and paranormal occurrences begin to haunt them and Matt’s sister, Lee Harris. In the five-episode documentary, Shelby is portrayed by the extravagant English actress Audrey Tindall, Matt by the conceited Dominic Banks and Lee by Monet Tumusiime. “This is the end, my only friend the end……” The brief lyric from the classic tune by The Doors seems rather appropriate as fans of the Supernatural series on HBO prepare themselves for the first episode of the final season of “True Blood”….queue dramatic music…….
Season 6 Recap: Season six focuses on Billith’s growing abilities. Sookie and Jason search for Warlow, the vampire responsible for their parents death. Louisiana governor leads a platform to eradicate the entire vampire race, leaving all fates in the balance.
Produced by Alan Ball and Brian Buckner, the seventh season continues the creepy happenings that are brewing down South with Miss Sookie Stackhouse, Vampire Bill Compton and a host of other strange individuals. When we last saw our heroine, she and many of the townspeople were ready to be attacked by what appeared to be zombie vampires. I realize that this is not the proper description but these vamps were affected by the “H” virus that had been put out there in the “True Blood” drink to wipe out their race. Anyway, it looked like it was going to get ugly and I am sure it will knock us off the couch from the moment that it begins this evening on HBO. Will you watch? Here is the full cast for those interested in knowing the key players this season. Continue reading Airing Tonight: “True Blood” Season 7 (6/22/2014)→
