Being in Sum 41 since 1996 brought us some of the best moments of our lives. We are forever grateful to our fans both old and new, who have supported us in every way. It is hard to articulate the love and respect we have for all of you and we wanted you to hear this from us first.
Sum 41 will be disbanding. We will still be finishing all of our current upcoming tour dates this year, and we’re looking forward to releasing our final album “Heaven :x: Hell”, along with a final worldwide headling tour to celebrate. Details will be announced as soon as we have them.
For now, we look forward to seeing all of you skumfuks on the road and are excited for the future will bring for each of us.
Thank you for the last 27 years of Sum 41.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Though I can safely say that the material that I’ve heard from Sum 41 over the years I have found to be enjoyable, I was never one of those folks who followed them religiously throughout their career. When the band was in its growing heyday I was into much heavier stuff than they were delivering and sadly I never got around to seeing them in concert but I guess that I still have time to do that since a final tour is coming according to the press news. To help quell this sad news I’ve embedded the song that broke the band and was a fast favorite on Rock radio back in the day. While I am sure that the band has their reasons for disbanding I always hate seeing this kind of news. Wrapping it all up what do you out there in the readership think about it all.
