Metal Fans are going to happily leave 2014 behind with all of the fantastic tours that are awaiting them as soon as 2015 is here and ready to say hello. We’ve already discussed that the Black and Death Metal fans are going to be over the full moon based on the visits happening by both Watain & Mayhem’s Tour along with the Cannibal Corpse & Behemoth Tour and now it’s time to get the Metalcore blood to a boil with the revelation that Suicide Silence is embarking on a headlining run. According to what I am reading this is the band’s first ever US headlining run and they will bring along Emmure, Within The Ruins and Fit For An Autopsy to make sure you are exhausted by the end of the night. I’ve snagged the tours promotional poster and pieces of the press copy that went out for you all to indulge in along with the dates. We can talk more about it after you read it so get moving
The Press Release:
Fresh off the heels of their successful European headliner,California based extreme metal titans SUICIDE SILENCE, will return to the US on a headlining run this winter dubbed the “Stronger Than Faith Tour”! The band will be continuing on their crusade in support of their juggernaut release “You Can’t Stop Me”, which came in at #16 on the U.S. Billboard Top 200 Chart upon its release this past July. “We had an amazing time this last fall on tour and now it is time to really bring the fire on our first US headlining tour of 2015,” says vocalist Eddie Hermida. “We are bringing our good friends in EMMURE, WITHIN THE RUINS and FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY out this time so be ready for an ass whoopin’ you won’t be able to cry home to your mom about! Come early and hang out with us this spring on the ‘Stronger Than Faith’ tour!”
“SUICIDE SILENCE and EMMURE have been friends for a long, long time,” adds guitarist Mark Heylmun. “It’s been over 6 years since we’ve got to do a tour like this one coming up so to say I’m excited is a massive understatement. So come out and hang out because this is gonna be one for the record books.” The tour kicks off in Santa Cruz, CA on February 17th, and concludes in Tucson, AZ on March 25th.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I keep wracking my brain about them but I do NOT think that I ever managed to see Suicide Silence in concert before and this surprises me because many of my friends have and we all seem to be found at the same shows. With Mitch Lucker gone, I have to say that the bands future is in promising hands with Eddie H. and he does their material proper respect while bringing new fire to the mix on their latest tunes. Don’t be mad at me for not being 100% into Emmure because I know a lot of you like them; It’s just not always my “thing” but I don’t give them the level of crap that many other sites do and can say that they sure deliver on the stage so in that I will leave it be. I have seen both Within The Ruins and the Fit For An Autopsy guys and can only say “holy crap, do not be late and miss their sets” as they are sure to impress you with their crushing Metal blows. Now, what do you readers think about this one? Is it up your alley and will you attend? Please let me know in the comments below as I am always interested in what shows you are most passionate about. I will see you soon right here so stay tuned. Oh yeah please follow developments about this tour and these bands via the links provided below.
