My May is already looking like a steamroller based on all the upcoming shows, comic book releases and opening films and let’s not overlook the constantly being added tours. That said, the folks in Stitched Up Heart have announced a month long headlining run and you can learn about it below. Check out the poster, press release and dates. I’ll close it up with additional thoughts. Here we go.
The Press Release:
Los Angeles-based Hard Rock outfit STITCHED UP HEART have announced their upcoming Summer headlining tour. The month long trek, titled the “Hearts in Hell” tour, is set to begin in Las Vegas, NV on June 2 and will feature direct support from Hell or Highwater. Stitched Up Heart continue to tour on the strength of their Century Media debut album, Never Alone, featuring the singles “Finally Free”, “Monster” and “Catch Me When I Fall”. Meanwhile, Hell or Highwater are primed to release their new record, Vista, on May 19th (featuring the single “I Want It All”).
Speaking about the band’s upcoming tour, Stitched Up Heart frontwoman Alecia “Mixi” Demner comments:
“We could not be more excited to start the ‘Hearts In Hell’ tour! The last couple months away from the road have given us time to come up with some awesome surprises for this tour. We’re also very happy to be bringing our friends in Hell Or Highwater along for the action! We can all remember seeing when they were first starting out playing at dives in Anaheim. So come get wild with us and see a killer show!”
Hell or Highwater lead vocalist Brandon Saller also offered his thoughts on the tour, stating, “We’re extremely pumped to head straight back out on the road. Every band on this tour has their own style and it’s a great feeling to see that we’re all rising together. We look forward to playing some new songs and having a lot of fun with everyone!”

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ve been doing my best to catch SUH whenever they pay a visit to my city because I love their sound and think that the passion behind singer Mixi is absolutely awesome. I also admire this woman’s efforts for pet rescue and since I am not sure whether you follow her official social networks, she is a staunch cat lover and is always doing what she can to raise money for kittens and the like. As a cat lover myself I think this is fantastic so if you see her and love the furries do give her a heartfelt thank you and maybe even toss something into the canister that says “for the rescues” as it will go to a good use. Now, I don’t have a lot of background in Hell or Highwater and since the tour isn’t coming to NYC, I’ll need to start poking around on Spotify to see what they are all about. If you are a fan of the band already please let me know some highlights to search for as it will be a great help. I do hope that SUH heads back to NYC soon though and if you are in my region you should be thinking the same way. So what do you readers whose areas they are visiting think? You can let me know down in the comments section below and remember love your pets and help the ones in need of such assistance. It’s good karma. See you soon again.
