Welcome back my friends to our continued deep-dive into the recently passed New York Comic Con for 2024. If you’re just joining us, the is my second Special Features post from the convention which is a little bit of a new way of presenting the findings. Since I tend to speak in a flowing narrative I’d love for you to start from the beginning by clicking NYCC 2024 since that opens a brand-new browser tab for you to follow from the start. Now without any further adieu, let’s get back to the program.
Some of you out there in the readership might know that there was no Toy Fair this year and that meant no advance look at items coming from our friends at Diamond Select Toys. For this special feature I just snapped each section of their absolutely massive display case as all of these items are on sale now. I think only a select few are up and coming. I love so much of the DST stuff but mostly when it comes to action figures and Minimates. Statues are a hard sell for me unless its Vader, Doctor Doom and Godzilla. Let’s browse.
I hope that you all enjoyed that one. Now I should mention that there is going to be a Toy Fair in the first quarter of 2025 and if our registration is approved I will surely be making an appointment with DST as they are always a highlight of that exploration. Stay tuned for that possibility and now let’s continue.
My background with Premium Collectibles Studio is very, very limited but wow did I love the stuff that they had brought to New York Comic Con. Lots of cool properties under their belt like “Transformers” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” which I of course enjoy. I was also very impressed by the Lady Death on the throne statue. Take a look.
I’ll wrap this one up and start to prepare for the next Special Features installment since I have a couple of lengthy ones to do. Sadly there isn’t any short form videos from this section but now I know for the next time since that stuff generates so much traffic good on the YouTube Channel.
