Welcome back my friends to the New York Comic Con coverage that never ends if I can take a bite out of the classic ELP song. Now being serious we are heading towards the close but with so many photos, features, interviews and videos to share from this years event it all makes sense. So as I mentioned I am now in the middle of posting some of the Special Feature focuses with you all. Doing it this way let’s me have the companies shine brighter on their own and I think that’s a very good thing. If you are only now just joining us we welcome you to the proceedings and hope that you like what you see. Before I get right on into this one I am going to suggest that you click HERE first as that will open up a brand-new browser tab with all of the posts that preceded this one. Now I will continue along with the special features and talk about Vault Comics and Z2 Comics.
This batch of images comes from the cool pavilion that Vault Comics had going on and truth be told I’ve never perused any of their offerings. I’m going to try and get on their media servicing list if they have one so I can look into reviewing some of their output here on the site. We did a video with one of their team and everything looks and sounds interesting so stay tuned for that on the YouTube Channel and enjoy these images for the time being.
And look they even have cool shirts. I can safely say that I am interested in checking out a few of these books and especially the upcoming “Death Stalker” since that stems from the original Frank Frazetta artwork. Let’s see what happens.
Now I don’t think that I need to explain what Z2 Comics does because I’ve talked about them in great detail over the last few years. If you need a quick refresher they have been offering up books by and based on numerous Metal acts for a few years. This year they had quite a few signings of their books but I didn’t manage to get to them since I was elsewhere in the con when they were happening. Down below you’ll find a bit of their current output. These books look great on the bookshelf and are quite interesting.
They also have some cool and lots of weird merchandise to go along with your collection. Anthrax inspired Madballs, guitar picks, masks and more.
If you collect vinyl and I know that a LOT of you do, they have that as well.
I’m going to wrap this one up here but don’t you worry as it looks like I have enough photos left for a few more special feature focuses. Though I might have said this somewhere else I think that I like doing it this way. Each year if I end up attending the convention I am looking for new ways to deliver the content to you and no matter how long we’ve done this its always a learning experience. Now as we always ask, please be sure that you are following and engaging with us on our social media profiles. The PiercingMetal site is very active on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. See you tomorrow with yet another exciting installment from the 2023 New York Comic Con. Thanks for reading, see you then.
