The Anime features continue to rise in influence upon the world of geekdom with shorts, conventions and full-length features such as this one being showcased in the narrative. While we are not as schooled in it as we’d like to be, we’ve done our best to support the medium at events like Liberty City Anime Con and Anime NYC or with events like the recently announced winners of the Crunchyroll Anime Awards. Clicking any highlighted text will bring you to those items but now its onto the Official Dub Trailer for the feature “My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising”. Let’s take a look.

The Premise: A group of youths aspiring to become professional superheroes, fight in a world full of people with abilities, also known as quirks. Deku and his fellow classmates from Hero Academy face Nine, the strongest villain yet.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: This sure looks like an exciting film, but I am not sure that I will be able to get to it as it opens on the weekend of the annual Toy Fair which I will be attending and documenting for the website. Let me add to that a repeat of my being generally lost with the Anime stuff. I think I need one of the readership to plan a series of “must watch” items for me to examine. Maybe I should refer to that contest I did for an Anime convention last year where I asked fans to tell me their favorites. Okay I am thinking aloud now and must get back to work on other agenda items in preparation for the Toy Fair. I hope you liked this trailer clip and I wonder what you think about it as well. Chime in any thoughts down below in the comments and know that all topical submissions will get an immediate approval. See you next time.
