ABOUT SKILLET: Skillet has cemented their place as one of the 21st century’s most successful rock bands. Selling more than 12 million units worldwide, the Wisconsin quartet have received two GRAMMY® Award nominations and won a Billboard Music Award for the now double-platinum certified Awake. Their double-platinum single “Monster” was “the eighth most-streamed rock song of 2015” and currently has over 182 million plays (and counting) on Spotify, earning the distinction of becoming “the best-selling digital single in the history of Christian Music.” It continues to reign atop Billboard’s Christian Streaming Songs Year-End Chart. Their latest album, the RIAA Gold certified Unleashed, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and houses the RIAA Gold Certified “Feel Invincible,” which went to No. 1 on the Rock Radio chart. Unleashed is the fourth consecutive Skillet record to receive certification of either gold, platinum or double platinum. Nine of Skillet’s songs have received RIAA distinction coinciding with use by such powerhouses as WWE, Marvel, ESPN and the NFL to name a few. The band has been featured on Conan, USA Today, The New York Times and more. The multi-platinum selling band garnered over a billion worldwide streams in 2018 worldwide.
ABOUT SEVENDUST: In 1994, Sevendust first forged a familial tie amongst each other that translated into one of the most diehard audiences in the game. To this day, the connection between fans and the GRAMMY® Award-nominated gold-certified hard rock outfit only grows stronger. For their twelfth full-length and first release for Rise Records All I See Is War, the quintet—Lajon Witherspoon [lead vocals], Clint Lowery [lead guitar, backing vocals], John Connolly [rhythm guitar, backing vocals], Vince Hornsby [bass], and Morgan Rose [drums]—did the best thing they could possibly do to combat all of the division in the streets and on social media; they went and made a Sevendust record—just bigger, ballsier, and bolder than before. A trifecta of now-classic gold albums—Sevendust , Home , and Animosity — ignited their journey. Known as an equally intense and unforgettable live force, they’ve consistently packed houses around the world and decimated stages everywhere from Rock on the Range and Woodstock to OZZfest and Shiprocked! 2015’s Kill The Flaw represented a high watermark. Bowing at #13 on the Billboard Top 200, it scored their highest debut on the respective chart since 2010 and marked their fifth consecutive Top 10 on the Top Rock Albums Chart and third straight Top 3 on the Hard Rock Albums Chart. Most impressively, the lead single “Thank You” garnered a nomination in the category of “Best Metal Performance” at the 2016 GRAMMY® Awards, a career first.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Considering the punch that this touring package will be delivering I am very sad that it isn’t coming anywhere near our stomping grounds. I’ve seen Sevendust a number of times but Skillet only once while Pop Evil is almost at five times and I’ve enjoyed each of these performances considerably. Devour The Day I don’t recall seeing but know some songs and I think that any fans who attend should make sure to get there nice and early to enjoy all of the acts. This is a get your money’s worth sort of show for sure and as I close this one up I wonder what you think about the news. Chime in down below in the comments section.
