PiercingMetal Thoughts: When I was growing up as a young music fan, there was the chance to become more interested in Rock and Roll based on Elton’s earliest works. It’s without question that this was some surefire quality songwriting. Sir Elton John is a legend that other legends look up to an while he will be retiring from the live scene, his interest in continuing albums is a good thing. I’ve never gotten to see him perform live and only have the officially released videos to enjoy along with the bevy of classic clips when he was complete Rock and Roll spectacle. Does anyone remember the Donald Duck costume or Captain Fantastic? Great stuff. This three year run will likely have a LOT more tour dates announced and probably even a second leg to many of the places that he has already unveiled. What do you readers think about this news? Will you miss him? Have you caught him before in the olden days or more recently with his contemporary hits? Chime in down in the comments section below. All topical submissions will be approved.
