The Scoop: So as you know, this year the annual New York Comic Con had gone virtual and delivered unto the Geeks at large an event known as “New York Comic Con x MCM Comic Con’s Metaverse”. Last night I posted the update from their press team which you can peruse by clicking HERE in the event that you didn’t get to experience any of it in “real time”. PiercingMetal Thoughts: Some interesting discussion and reveals for sure. Now as I’ve pointed out over the last few months in our Pop Culture focuses, I don’t currently subscribe to CBS All Access and let me add Starz to the mix as well. This means I will most likely not be seeing “The Stand” despite posting about it for you fans that do have that network. I was very curious about “American Gods” though since this is a Neil Gaiman property after all and we love his work. I will probably be checking out both “Monsterland” and “Resident Alien” and will keep the masses in tune with the stuff I learn about the Keanu Reeves comic book. That’s all I have for this brief bit of news but as I close up I wonder if you readers participated in any of the NYCC Metaverse or are looking to catch up over the weekend. Chime in down below and I will see you next time around. The topical links are below for you to explore of course.
