The Scoop: Though I’m not glued to the YouTube based on my daily agenda, I am back again to share some of the highlights from the currently in progress NYCC Metaverse. As you might recall, this is taking the place of the physical New York Comic Con based on the Coronavirus Pandemic. Here are the day 3 panel highlights:

* The creators of Steven Universe got together to talk about the show’s legacy and revealed some of the unaired plans they had for the series:

* The cast of Sky’s A Discovery of Witches offered a behind the scenes look at the 2nd season and dropped a new trailer for the upcoming season:

* Entertainment Weekly’s Women Who Kick Ass panel brought together Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o, Diane Kruger, and Fan Bingbing (along with a few special guests) to discuss their upcoming spy thriller, The 355:

* Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Lost’s finale, showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse joined NYCC’s Metaverse to share some secrets and answer unresolved questions about the series:

* The cast of AMC’s The Walking Dead discussed Sunday’s upcoming episode with some special guests joining the YouTube live chat:

* Tom Welling, Sam Witwer, Laura Vandervoort, and Michael Rosenbaum got together to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Smallville to talk about the show and their longstanding friendship:

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Quite an interesting batch of panels to watch if you are fans of any of the shows being discussed. I’ve not yet watched any “Steven Universe” but I heard it’s a hoot and I was not a regular follower of “Smallville” though I’ve been tempted to begin binge-watching it since we still have some pandemic time to go. That’s actually how I ended up catching up on “Lost” without having the end being spoiled on me. Back then it was a little easier to avoid such things but now forget about it. I’ll be back with their final day summary soon after I get it and hope that you are enjoying this kind of presentation. I sure do miss being exhausted after Day Three of New York Comic Con though. It’s around this time that I debate should I return for the fourth day and generally while exhausted I snap myself together and head over to the Javits Center. Chime in down below with what you like about the discussed above as we always love to hear from you.
