Hey there my friends I am back with more of the absolutely exciting day by day visuals and observations from the recent New York Comic Con for 2024. As you know the convention itself ended several days ago but I’m left with numerous days of things to share with you afterwards. I’m starting off with my Day Four stuff now and if you’re only just now joining into the fun you’re going to want to click NYCC 2024 as that will launch a brand-new browser tab with all of my previous posts in sequential order.
For me, Day Four is often clean-up day and by that I mean to check off things I missed on the other days and what not. I followed no real mission plan but was happy to encounter Doctor Doom as I wandered. This cosplay looked like how Doom was revealed to be RDJ at the San Diego Comic-Con a few months ago. I’m not happy with this at all but moving along.

As a rule I don’t generally snap photos of the littlest attendees but after talking to the parents of this awesome Ultraman cosplay it had to be done.
Longtime vendors and friends from Japan, Okada San and his Japan Wave booth.
We love Figpin and own several of them by now. These were the NYCC 2024 Convention Exclusives. That’s the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in their Pizza Wagon and Kaiju No. 8. I don’t know much about the latter but I am told I would like it.
This stylish cosplayer was NOT a part of the MechaBREAK Booth that you will soon see a lot more of but she was friendly and wanted to be in the overview and there you go.
Some different members of the 501st Legion were found downstairs and when I headed back to the River Pavilion I saw their Kylo Ren.
These however are the Mandalorian Merc unless I mishead them.
Here’s “Maid-Pool”…
While I didn’t ask, this might very well be the same Mandalorian that I snapped a few times across the last four days.
This was one of the very best Wonder Woman cosplays that I’ve ever seen at NYCC. I believe she goes under “LexWipp” for those who wish to look her up.
I have to say that this Iceman from X-Men is very well done.
Since I had run into our friend Megan McCauley down in the artist alley, I introduced her to some of the artists that I had met. Perhaps some collabs are to come.
A whole “One Piece” crew of cosplayers.
Nick Dragotta is blowing peoples minds with the art on “Absolute Batman” but we didn’t actually get to snap him at the con. Too bad.
Cat Noir and Miraculous.
Not only did this talented young con goer fashion and build that dinosaur head but he was also giving out candy through it. Well done young sir.
A different but equally imposing Doctor Doom.
Here’s Danny Fingeroth and Joe Staton…
Here’s Sandy Carpenter King from Storm King Comics and some of their output.
That’s going to wrap my first installment from the Day Four adventuring at NYCC 2024. Now in the previous chapters I always ended with my arrival video but since I only have 2 installments for Day Four I am adding it down below for you to enjoy. There are similar clips on the Official YouTube Channel from the convention.
Be sure to keep a watch for the next installment because that one is going to lead you into all of the Special Features that I denoted somewhere else in this run of posts. While you wait I encourage you to participate with us care of the Official PiercingMetal Linktree. This holds all of our most relevant social media platforms and your engagement helps keep this thing afloat. See you next time.
