Well hello there again my fellow Geeks, and welcome back to the continued coverage of the 2022 New York Comic Con. You’ve landed on the third installment from our Day Two observations and this will be the final stuff from this particular day. Don’t worry I still have plenty to come as I’ve been lining out this presentation a little differently this year. So if this is your first glance at this years overview, I ask that you please pause and click HERE since that will open up a window with all of our posts about this years convention. It’s always best to start at the beginning with this stuff. Let’s begin with this robotic Optimus Prime. You press a button and it transforms into the truck and back into the leaders of the Autobots.
Brian Ewing always has some cool stuff for sale.
Here’s a couple of photos from the Equilibrium Urban Survival Gear booth. They have some really cool modular backpacks. I love a good backpack. If I manage to get my hands on one I’ll definitely do an overview for this or the Piercing Ken website.
Here’s some visuals from our friends at Ghostboy. I like these designs and especially the ones featuring pizza.
This was now my favorite cosplay. Clever notion that Ducktor Doom.
Our good friend the great Keith Williams. Artist on so many things including “The Phantom”.
Running into the lovely Dame Divine Cosplay is always such a treat. Such positive energy and awesome cosplays. Look her up.
We saw quite a few Chainsaw Man cosplayers, this is an anime that I don’t know too much about but I will be looking into it before next months Anime NYC event since I am attending that as well and need to be up to speed.
The great David Mack. He is the creator of “Kubuki”, a character that I have long felt would make a good action series on film or on the small screen like Netflix.
This is Zeea Adams, one of the daughters of the late great Neal Adams.
This was another great cosplay idea. A Galactus and an Earth. High marks given for the creativity on this.
The great Alex Saviuk….
Look it’s our friend Marcy Lee!!!
The legendary Darryl DMC McDaniels sporting a Motorhead shirt. It’s always great to catch up with him at the New York Comic Con and I have to say that I am humbled by being able to even say that.
Wow another winner in my personal book, the Amazing Spider-Mandalorian. Talk about clever. Sometimes these ideas being brought to life just blow my mind.
So before we close up this installment, I am going to share a few of the photos that I am actually in. I don’t do much of this to be honest and get a kick out of those who come to the con as “press” or “industry” and all the photos are of them but hey people right? Found below are photos with Dirk Manning who we interviewed, Alan Robert of Life Of Agony, some wax statues, villainous cosplayers and a charming cosplayer. Some are from Day One but since I closed with the images of the table of the late Kim Jung Gi, I didn’t want to break the reflection up by sharing this kind of stuff.
So now that officially wraps up the Day Two adventuring from NYCC. This post fell short of the “50” visuals but as I said I am doing this one differently and peppering in other features along the way. Remember to start following the outlet on our social media profiles since we love knowing that you are out there. It’s a numbers game and they say thre is strength in numbers.
