Alright my friends, you know how this works by now but welcome back to another installment of my in-depth photo and editorial coverage of the 2022 New York Comic Con which was taking over the Javits Center for four days. I’m now on Part Two from Day Two and as usual the plan is to be here for all four days adventurers, I have returned once more to continue along with the visuals captured on Day One of this massive media happening. It’s been fun so far and I’ll pick up where the exploring paused. As mentioned in the earlier installments, you’re going to want to click HERE since that will open up a window with all of our posts about this years convention. It’s always best to start at the beginning since I tend to refer to other things as I go along. Let’s wander.
I really liked this cool Star Wars cosplay group. It sure was different from most of the others but I don’t think we shall see them enlisting in the 501st Legion just yet.
There was some cool stuff over at the Sumerian Comics pavilion. Yep. Sumerian Records now has a comic book imprint as well.
Since I was nearby I snapped some more photos from the Genshin Impact photo-op area. Such great costumes.
Now this was awesome. A gaming area for those who wish to play a bunch of computer games against others in attendance at the convention.
This was a nice sight because I love Broadway and having a booth occupied by Playbill was awesome. They had a lot of cool stuff to purchase and were a part of some panels. I loved the design of that pin and planned on returning to get one by the end of the convention.
This was a favorite cosplay duo for sure. Two of my very favorite Marvel Comics super-villains with Doctor Doom and the great Galactus. Seeing them made me hope against hope that they are represented properly when they make their cinematic debut. Whenever that will be of course.
Chrissie Zullo is always a welcome sight at the convention. I’ve talked to her a lot over the years.
Now I never ever thought I would see an Eternity cosplay in my life and this was a clever one since they also incorporated a baby Galactus.
A cool Mandalorian family cosplay.
These awesome plastic figurines were observed at the Toy Insider booth but I forgot to write the name of the game down. When I find out I will look into doing a full on report about them to make up for the oversight.
I swung by the MeTV area again because the famous Svengoolie was making an appearance. Sadly the line was too long for me to wait on. I had a lot to do today still.
As I walked away from this booth we ran into Papa Emeritus IV and after receiving his blessing to continue on deeper into the convention away I went.
Alright, let’s wrap up this chapter and leave you hungry for some more which I will put down in front of you tomorrow. There was really some cool stuff in this chapter and I hope that you agreed with me on that. I think we have enough for one more Day Two post, but if there are additional images, I am not dismayed by a fourth post. Let’s see what happens.
