Greetings my fellow geeks and welcome back to my continued presentations from the 2022 edition of the New York Comic Con. I’m starting on the Day Two stuff now and since three installments like this precede this post along with a wealth of exhibitor posts, you are going to want to click HERE to see everything in the order that it was posted. As I’ve said in the earlier posts, we suggest that you start at the beginning because it gives you a proper idea about the event if you are from far away. It also gives us extra time on site in our statistics and Google loves that stuff. Let’s get right on down into it and this time I will start with the Short video that I recorded only a few minutes after I arrived. That lives on our YouTube Channel which I hope you will give a Subscribe to.
As you’ve seen already and on numerous NYCC posts over the years, I like to focus on the fans/cosplayers who drop good money on attending. The ReedPOP folks always remind their press outlets that they are fan first and I like to help that along by showcasing the hard work like this awesome Gem.
This giant inflatable is Straw Hat from “One Piece”. Did you know that this particular Anime has about 1000 episodes? Try to binge-watch that.
Maya Phillips was showcasing her brand-new book “NERD”. If time permits I will look into a copy of this one for site review.
The folks at GeeksOut had a room for discussions and networking this con. Some of you might already know that they are the ones behind the “Flame Con”
Here’s Tran Nguyen and her amazing artwork. I didn’t get to do any artist brief with her this year but there is always next time.
Some cool Sandman cosplayers. That’s Morpheus and Death in case you wondered. I need to sit and watch this show.
Writer Amy Chu was elsewhere at the time but I had to snag a photo of this KISS collected edition. I need to grab a copy of this one. Dynamite Comics sure did release a lot of KISS Stuff. I don’t mind this at all of course.
Artist Agnes Garbowska is always super busy at the convention so it was great to be able to snag a quick photo as I continued my exploration of Artist Alley.
Mike Lilly Rocks!!!
Artist Scott Hannah is always friendly and willing to chat with attendees.
The awesome Russ Braun.
This was our first time meeting Will Sliney and I made sure to do a video brief with him for YouTube.
Always a delight to see K Lynn.
Darryl McDaniels comic book character has been brought to life by this cosplayer.
I found this to be one of my favorite cosplays. The citizens of the Land Of Rubik.
Here’s Alan Robert, bassist of Life Of Agony. Alan has several awesome coloring books through IDW Publishing and you might want to look those up since they’re quite fun.
I’ll pause the Day Two visuals for now and come back with more tomorrow. As you all know, once I hit the “50” mark I prefer to stop for another installment. Don’t worry, I still have a LOT of fun to share with you all. While you wait on that, please make sure that you are tuning in to our respective social media profiles since we love knowing that you are out there.
