Hey there my friends and welcome back to the comprehensive coverage of the 2022 New York Comic Con. I’m still serving up the visuals from Day Three and when I was at this point in the adventuring I was hitting assorted locations without any overall plan. Before you dig deep into this one, I will suggest that you click HERE in the event that you are only just joining us as today’s post went live. I’d rather you enjoy this from the beginning as opposed to in the middle of the story. So my first few images were done in the Artist Alley and I paid more mind to the cosplayers here and would lock out some interviews afterwards.
Now I was going to see what was going on in the area just outside the main expo floor. A lot of times you’ll find cosplay meetup groups assembling there and its just a fun place to see who everyone is dressed as. I thought this Supergirl from The CW television series was great.
These two and then three friends were so charming. Was happy to add them to the content being presented.
To say that there was a lot of Moon Knight cosplay would be an understatement and especially when it came to Khonshu. Truth be told I only ever saw the occasional Moon Knight cosplay in the years before and never a Khonshu. I think I’ve seen a dozen of them so far at NYCC 2022.
I stopped by the Whatnot area and for those who don’t know what that is, it’s a means of buying and selling things online and going live to do so. It seemed interesting. Maybe I should set up a little shop to move some of my own collections out into the wild once again.
I went back to the Marvel Entertainment pavilion because they had a photo op with the mighty Ultraman. I couldn’t resist the chance for this so got on the line. My photo with him will be a part of the Day Three closing chapter since its better to present that stuff over there.
The creative team behind the “Ultraman” comic series.
This super cute Princess Peach is our friend Oksana Cosplay.
This imposing Lex Luthor meant business.
I was near the Funko Central area and heard the strains of Run DMC and learned that inside was the one and only Darryl “DMC” McDaniels who was doing a quick live performance. Sorry that no video exists of this from me. Since it had already started I just enjoyed it and shouted the lyrics I knew back at him.
This is Danielle Otrakji and she’s super awesome. An interview with her will be a part of my series from this years NYCC.
You saw the real deal Elvira before with the Cassandra Peterson visual and now its time to see a cosplayer dressed as her. She did terrific.
Dare I say “Hey Koolaid”!!!! Nowadays when I see this character I think of the “Family Guy” sketches where he arrives at the absolutely wrong time.
I’m going to wrap this one up now as I’ve hit my “50” images criteria and will leave what is left for tomorrow’s post. From the looks of it, that will be the final post for Day Three unless I see more with another glance through the folders. Until then please make sure that you are tuning in to our respective social media profiles since we love knowing that you are out there.
