Hey there friends, welcome thee back to the PiercingMetal explorations of the 2021 New York Comic Con. I’m still on the Day One part of the adventure and believe it or not this will be the last part from this day. Since there wasn’t much that was keeping me engaged on the main floor at this point I went back to Artist Alley to see some familiar faces and discuss possible videos. Here’s the awesome Chrissie Zullo.

It’s always great to see Jae Lee but he was busy working on some comissions so I didn’t disturb him.

Bob Camp is the co-creator of “Ren & Stimpy” and he is always a hoot to talk to when he isn’t working on a drawing for someone.

Artists Franco and Art Baltazar work on a lot of the same titles so their tables are often right next to each other. As you see everyone is wearing a mask and there wasn’t a lot of hand shaking going on. This was fine by me today for sure.

Here’s the legendary X-Men scribe Chris Claremont. There was a break in the line to get him to sign things and chat so we snapped it at that moment. Always great to see Chris.

Sasha Yosselani is an amazing artist for sure so its nice to include her each year in these features.

When I ran into this trick or treating Vision I was heading out of the event center. I had about fifteen minutes left before they chased everyone out but I was finished.

Upon reaching Times Square I was chatting with this charming cosplayer who said she was just being herself. You gotta love that violet hair.

Well that is going to bring me to the end of the presentations from Day One and while I usually prefer a few more images in these posts, I don’t like mixing the days into each other so that is a curtain call for this particular day. I hope you’ve enjoyed these visuals and as promised tomorrow’s post will be the one focused on Tamashii Nations.
