Well my friends you have kept on with us so far and now its time to start presenting the findings from Day Four of the mega-media event known as New York Comic Con. If you’ve been with us so far let me just let the newbies know to click HERE to see all of the posts that they might have missed by being latecomers. As expected I’ve a lot to share with you so let’s get down to it.
The Sunday part of NYCC is known as “Family Day” and that let’s attendees bring a child up to a certain age in for a discounted price. I think the age is 12 or 13 but don’t quote me since I don’t know offhand.
The photo above shows all the folks heading down to the Artist Alley and hopefully also the Main Stage so I can navigate a little easier. I cut through the outside and met what I think was another knock it out of the park Loki variant cosplay. The “Starchild” Paul Stanley Loki variant. That was a great idea for sure.
This was a great Raven from the Teen Titans cosplay. She got the whole look correct.
It was great to see Deadpool being a vaccination advocate. I didn’t know he had it in him.
This was a clever idea. This couple was cosplaying police boxes that you Doctor Who fans might know more as The Tardis.
Now I first saw this being done at the Anime NYC convention and I am happy to find New York Comic Con doing it too. This is Cosplay Central and its a team of skilled creative people who help with repairing a ripped or broken cosplay. I really love this idea.
As some friends were waiting on that long line to go inside the Chucky truck, I swung by that again and this time there was an assistant helping with the crowd in costume so I had to snap this once more.
This classic cosplay of Harley Quinn comes to you from the young lady known as Dame Divine Cosplay. You met her in an earlier post when she was Gwenpool.
These two younger patrons were attending NYCC for the very first time and it was also their first convention. They were too cute.
While strolling through the independent publishers area we started talking with the folks at Junction City Comics. They were nice guys and some of their characters sound interesting. Maybe I will ask to review some of their offerings in the coming months.
That’s going to be the end of this first part of the Day Four adventuring but do please stick around because I have a little bit left to go.
