Hey there my friends and welcome back to my continued presentations from the 2019 New York Comic Con. Most of you know that the convention ended a few days ago but I parse all of my images and special features out for days past. You are now on the Day Two stuff and I’ll be serving up this day over the course of the week until finished. Today’s post is mostly Cosplayers and will feature limited narrative sidebar from me. I’ll begin with the charming lass who kept me company on the train ride down here as my first Cosplayer of the day. This is Amanda and I don’t think she was dressed as anyone as much as just in costume. Let’s go.
The folks at Insight Editions had posters that showcased two upcoming items of interest to me with this David Bowie book and the Batman one. They aren’t out yet of course but I will be looking into them post convention and considering them for reviews on the website.
In an earlier chapter, I showcased our friends over at “Off Girl”. Since that femme fatale was present at the convention today, I decided to lend them a little love. I also snagged copies of the issues that I was missing and will plan some reviews of them all as time permits.
Here’s the small booth occupied by the folks at Geeks Out. Most of the companies in this section were dedicated to the LGBTQ publishers which is nice to see because diversity is where its at nowadays. PiercingMetal has supported the GO own event “Flame Con” which happens in late summer at the Sheraton Hotel.
