Greetings my Anime and Manga loving readers. I am continuing along with the day to day coverage of the currently in progress Anime NYC convention that began last Thursday. As you read this I am heading over to the Javits for the conventions fourth and final day but this post will wrap up my Day One Findings and you can keep pace with me by clicking HERE as it will launch a new browser tab with everything that is posted from Anime NYC 2025. With this installment I was actually wrapping up my day and that meant not as many images left to share from the day. I’ll start with the amazing display from Hololive.

Sometimes when I see a group of cosplayers all together, I like to get the group shot and then do individual ones which are usually for the Instagram profile. Since I lean more to website featuring those images will remain here as well.

This was a cool Hatsune Miku with a McDonald’s theme.

and a fierce warrior which according to a Google photo search is “Asuka Langley from the Neon Genesis Evangelion”.

These last couple of Day One cosplayers I believe are “One Piece” and “Pokémon” but I could be mistaken.

In an earlier installment I mentioned needing to share a visual of the Press badge. I usually like to showcase these in advance but Leftfield Media doesn’t send them out early. You get your badge when you check in. As usual I jazz up the photo and wanted to shine a light on the button. This year’s Anime NYC featured its first ever Thursday edition. It was only a few short hours but it was great to find the convention expanding. This button celebrated this fact.

When I am winding down on each of the DTD chapters, I like to close out with any of the images that actually feature me as there aren’t usually a lot of these. From Day One the only photo of me is with my friend in media, Gail Worley from WorleyGig.com and the amazing Emily Ree who I met a few years ago and have remained in touch with since.

Another thing that I like to close the daily chapters with is the “Arrival Video” that was shot and published at the onset of the day. While this is a YouTube Short that is shared in the post, this same video was shared to the masses via our TikTok and Instagram Reels. I’ve been trying to do more clips like this since they are good for traction on each of these platforms.

So that is going to bring me to the end of the Day One findings and explorations and while I am sorry that I didn’t have another increment of “50” images for you to indulge in, there were other special items in this one that lets me properly wrap it up.
