Satan is one of those bands that escaped my attention during their original heyday and with so many lineup and name changes going back and forth from either Blind Fury or Pariah and putting out albums under those monikers its easy to see how this could happen. Despite this musical faux pas, I have been enjoying the Hell (sorry I had to) out of their “Life Sentence” album on Listenable Records and am going to try my damnedest (man this is easy) to be a part of the show that will be taking place in Brooklyn. This is the same night as Carcass for the NYC Metal Scene but I think I can work out both events and bring you kind readers the full story and photographs if at all possible. You can learn more about the band via their official Wikipedia entry which is linked below.

Official Wiki Entry:

Historically speaking there are only three albums out by the band under the name Satan and the original first album is VERY hard to find for a reasonable price and this seems true of the second release. Perhaps someone will be wise enough to remaster and re-issue these if we demand that it be the case enough.
