As many Science Fiction fans know, for the last few years, the Syfy network has been running a marathon of the classic series “The Twilight Zone” and it begins very early on New Year’s Eve and runs past New Year’s Day into the next. Since we know that a whole bunch of our geek-minded readership are fans of this Rod Serling classic, I wanted to make sure that I lined out the full rundown of the episodes that we can begin enjoying at the crack of dawn. I know I’ve said this before but I will repeat by saying that it’s remained one of my own favorite shows and stars so many legendary actors. Many of them were only getting their start in the business when they starred on an episode or two. Now without anyfurther adieu let’s see which episodes are airing and which ones you might want to record.

*** end of rundown ***

PiercingMetal Thoughts: As you can see by the list, there are just over “100” episodes airing for this years marathon and I think that’s about 10 more than last years. Historically speaking there are only around “156” total shows when all was said and done with the original series but don’t quote me on that since I didn’t do a full count. Considering a lot of us are still in lockdown based on the pandemic, I hope you get your DVR loaded up so you can watch them all at your leisure. A lot of the regular television shows have halted production during this time and will be starting much later than we might have liked. I programmed a whole bunch of them and will be flipping back and forth between this and the marathon of “The Honeymooners” but that one doesn’t start as early and only showcases about “19” episodes. The rundown of those shows will post on “The Chronicles Of Piercing Ken” at some point tomorrow so be sure to check that website as well around lunchtime. This year I programmed them all because I want to see if I can get them all without overloading the DVR. Last year I couldn’t because it was 96% full and now it’s only at 20%. Being at home sure found me watching a lot of television while writing posts. As you read this we are just shy of 24 hours away from a brand-new year and while I remember how excited we were for the promises that 2020 held, I think we can all agree that its time it made an exit and hopefully leaves us with a promising 2021. Are you all ready? Please be sure to keep safe which I have repeated time and time again and I will keep on doing my best to entertain you all. Will you be tuning into any of these shows or programming the system to secure a bunch of them? Chime in down below in the comments.
