Hey there readers of Revolver Magazine and of course this humble Metal blog, its my pleasure to share with you the one of the latest tours to be announced with the “Hottest Chicks In Hard Rock” tour for 2014. The tour will feature a headlining Sick Puppies along with Lacuna Coil, Eyes Set To Kill and Cilver. Learn more below.
From the Press Release: “The country may be suffering from unprecedented sub-zero conditions, but the REVOLVER Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock tour is back and ready to bring the heat this winter! The world’s first and only heavy metal and hard rock tour featuring today’s hottest female-driven artists is back and set to stop in 20 U.S. markets this February and March. Headlining the tour is Los Angeles-via-Australia’s Billboard-chart topping rockers Sick Puppies, Italian melodic metal front-runners Lacuna Coil, Arizona rock/metal outfit Eyes Set To Kill, and New York rock newcomers Cilver. The REVOLVER Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock tour is sponsored by High River Sauces, LP Media Consulting, Outerloop Management, Capitol Records, Century Media Records, Drill Down Entertainment, ReverbNation, Live Nation, House of Blues, and Vivogig”.
This tour interests me because it seems to be a well-stocked package (or should I be wry and say “well-stacked” package 🙂 okay pardon the sexism for the sake of a joke, but I am being serious about my interest because I have enjoyed the music of the Sick Puppies for a couple of years now and have yet to see them on the stage and Lacuna Coil always manages to deliver the goods in the live sense. I’ve yet to see what Eyes Set To Kill are all about but I have seen Cilver in some fashion when some of the members were a part of a band called Me Talk Pretty. Technically speaking there is only one female member in each of the bands outside of ESTK but I will not question good marketing when it comes to a tour title. I’ve highlighted our regional NYC performance and wonder if any of you are interested in this particular event. All of the posted dates are below so mark those calendars.
