A few short weeks ago, the PiercingMetal website once again had the honor of attending the Toy Insider’s “Sweet Suite” event. This is a special toy industry showcase that finds many exhibitors from some amazing companies showcasing their latest and greatest offerings. One of the big exhibitors was the Pokemon Center and in this space you could see all of the cool upcoming Pokemon awesome. If you played the game with one of their reps you would get a prize package and the video below is my reveal of said goodie bag. It would be great if you clicked “Watch on YouTube” and then give the Channel a subscribe.
With the video having been enjoyed, let’s take a photographic peek at the contents of the bad with my starting out with the Media Badge.
The green sticker on my badges plastic sheath means that I am okay with talking to you face to face or shaking hands while not sporting a face protection or grabbing the sanitizer right after engaging you. These are the common sights in a post-pandemic environment.
Everything the game participants received was in this bright yellow bag with the legendary Pikachu on the side. Its a big bag.
Inside this box is a rolled up playmat for the Pokemon game. You’re not just going to play this stuff on a table cloth after all. Like I said in the video, always wipe down your surface beforehand just to be on the safe side.
One can’t play a Pokemon card game without a set of Pokemon cards and they are in this nice little tin. I didn’t open it up yet and might leave it as is since sometimes I share this stuff around.
This is a Booster Bundle called “Paldea Evolved”. You’ll have to excuse my relative ingenue level of background on the Pokemon world but I will say that its darned cool to have “6” Booster Packs of anything.
This is a handy and reasonably sized box for ones Pokemon cards. This will prevent them from being damaged in transit or from being placed somewhere that they shouldn’t be.
A proper package of card sleeves. I was very new to these kinds of things and really love them for the cards that mean the most to my collection. I will say that card sleeves don’t always fit easily into a card box like the one above. Choose wisely.
Two Pokemon Plushies were in the bag. We got Snorelax and Chocadile. Too bad there wasn’t a Pikachu. I like him as well but most do right?
Now for the final bit of cool in the Pokemon Center Goodie Bag, this awesome and really bit Pikachu pin. I don’t know if I would recommend wearing this since its big and also heavy. If you lose it you will most likely hate yourself for that happening so I would suggest you maybe stick it onto one of those pinboards that I see people doing with such things. It’a a cork board like you’d see in an office with sticky notes and memos all over it but in the collectors world its covered with pins like this and of all different sizes.
That wraps up this unboxing or unbagging video and photo review. I hope you enjoyed it all and look into purchasing some or all of these items. Thanks to the Pokemon Team for letting me play the game and get these goodies and more importantly thanks to Team Toy Insider who the invite to another awesome event. The next and final Toy Insider showcase for the year is their “Holiday Of Play” and if we should get an invite to that one you can count on more images and videos from it. See you next time.
