PiercingMetal Thoughts: So there you have it. I guess part of me shouldn’t be surprised about The Beatles winning “Best Rock Performance” as the song “Now and Then” was determind to be the very last song by the Fab Four. The performance of “Mea Culpa” by Gojira at the Olympics was a crushing experience even on a YouTube video so I can only imagine how powerful it was in the live sense. Having seen Gojira a number of times over the years I can say that they are a band that leaves you breathless after seeing them in concert. I was also very happy to find The Rolling Stones winning because “Hackey Diamonds” is quite a solid Rock and Roll album and though I’ve heard some of St. Vincent my overall background on her material is extremely limited. What do you folks out there in the readership think about the winners of the 67th Grammy Awards for Rock, Metal and Alternative? Chime in down below in the comments and I will see you again soon. Peace out.
