PiercingMetal Thoughts: Wrapping this one up very quickly since I’ve a whole lot of other things to address after a day long trade show at the Javits, I will say that I am mostly disappointed in the winners. Yes I love Metallica but I am not too sure that as far as a performance goes that the track was better than Slipknot and how a band that is climbing the ladder as fast as Spiritbox gets overlooked is beyond me. Now truth be told I’ve not heard much of the latest Paramore album but many of my colleagues have pointed out that its only okay at best and I feel that either Foo Fighters or Greta Van Fleet should have taken that one home. They also won best alternative performance so good for them but maybe the boygenius should have taken that one home. What do you readers think about this and did you even watch The Grammys? I know when I am asking this that its not even half over but did you tune in? Program it on the DVR? Watch it streaming? Chime in down below since its always great to hear from you. See you again soon, please stay safe out there.
