PiercingMetal Thoughts: So there you have it my friends, the winners of the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. From the overall nominees I had high hopes for Killswitch Engage, Rival Sons, Candlemass and Bring Me The Horizon but as you can see NONE of the artists that I made some preliminary predictions about ended up winning. Okay, I am not entirely being correct here as I tossed a coin on the “Best Alternative” category and ended up with Vampire Weekend who was the only name that I knew in there. They of course won and that leads me to wonder why lumped into the “Best Rock” song category as well. Speaking frankly, I don’t really think too much of the Grammy Awards but they sure do seem to matter on the industry side. Congratulations to all the winners, and to those runner ups, there is always the next time. Please chime in down below with what you thought about the results as all topical submissions will be put through immediately.
