PiercingMetal Thoughts: Right off the bat I will have to admit that I am completely in the unaware when it comes to both the Alternative and Rock categories but that is where a rundown like this helps a listener out. I often head to something like Spotify to give them a listen and make my own opinion afterwards. Now the Metal category I know all of the artists involved and think that this is a very interesting collection. Both Cryptopsy and Kataklysm are two super heavy bands and one could only imagine if this kind of stuff was ever written down by the Grammy committee. I don’t think they’d know how to deal with it. So I’m not up on the latest from Danko Jones or KEN Mode but the stuff I’ve heard from Voivod is rather good so who knows, perhaps they will be the recipient of the Juno Award for Metal. So wrapping this one up I wonder what you out there in the readership think. Are you following the Canadian Music Scene at all? Chime in with your own thoughts if you like as its always nice to hear from you. See you next time, stay safe out there.
