The band Batushka are a Polish Black/Death group that are shrouded in mystery and I have to admit that I am still not 100% on point about them. That said, the band has recently revealed that they will be heading to the USA for tour dates for the very first time under the banner of “North American Pilgrimage”. The supporting acts will vary across these shows and here are the dates on this brief run.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: As I have already noted, I don’t know much about the band outside of the fact that some of my more “Underground Metal” friends love them and will likely be among the first in the door when they hit my beloved Brooklyn. The photos sure look intense and they don’t appear to show their faces and use different identities for their stage personas. They’ve signed to Metal Blade Records and I will try to do an album review as soon as I can get my hands on a copy. What do you think about this tour?
